(2025-06-27) Adam Dykstra: I'll give it a 5 because it is super helpful and valuable, however I find that I have to deal with login issues regularly - even when logged into SF. Something maybe about having email open nearly all the time and once SF logs out the gmail plugin doesn't connect the dots quickly when SF is logged back in? Not sure, but pretty obnoxious. Otherwise this integration is stellar!

I can easily associate emails with Salesforce records like accounts, opportunities, and contacts without leaving my inbox. The ability to insert calendar availability directly into emails is a huge time-saver and makes scheduling with customers seamless. Highly recommend for anyone working in Salesforce and Gmail!

(2025-06-12) Scott Fellini: The smooth integration with gmail is extremely helpful and time saving to maintain a history of communication. The only negative is that the connection is regularly dropped and you need to refresh gmail to reinitiate the connection.

However, since around mid-May 2025, the Gmail compose window and the Salesforce extension window have started to overlap, making the UI very difficult to use. (This issue is likely due to changes in Chrome’s specifications. The affected Chrome version we have confirmed is 136.0.7103.114.) I would appreciate a prompt fix for this.

I'm unable to attach emails to SalesForce most of the time these days, which is quite annoying as this is my primary use for the extension....

(2025-05-12) Heather Herrell: Recently, this extension has developed a bug with accessing email templates from Salesforce when composing new emails in Gmail. This time-saving function is so helpful when it works and it's the primary reason I use this extension. Now, the Compose button creates a new email that covers the Salesforce extension, making it impossible to select an email template. When I minimize the Compose popup window, the option to select an email template disappears. Very frustrating. I hope this issue is resolved soon!
(2025-05-07) Sarah Morris: The integration is useful when logging emails to Salesforce. However, I've had major issues with connectivity and getting re-connected. Less so recently, so maybe it was a bug that they fixed. I'm happy with the extension option!
(2025-05-01) Brotherhood of Hope: This integration is very useful! It's so helpful to add an e-mail to a record in Salesforce, rather than Copying and Pasting the text (which is what I had to do in our old CRM). It is a little glitchy at times, but overall a great feature.

(2025-03-25) Valerie Linz: This Chrome extension to add email messages into Salesforce records and seamless work with email messages and Salesforce records at the same time is intuitive, easy to use, very convenient, safe. The only drawback is that the connection always needs to be reestablished.

Requiring the constant live instance of SF creates a lag and constant disconnect between the two. The intention of this is excellent but it needs to create a true direct relationship between the applications.

I'm sure there's more that we aren't even yet utilizing which could further advance our efficiencies.

It is a little wonky at times because it times out or I need to log in and out every now and then. Sometimes I need to go into settings and reconnect it to my account.

The only drawback is that it tends to time out frequently, with repeated notifications about being disconnected. I understand the need for that, but it can be disruptive when completing an email.

(2024-12-26) Cross: The text shortcuts I've been making within the extension have been disappearing. Then when I try to re-make the text shortcut with the same shortcode as before, it says the shortcode has already been used. Re-making these text shortcuts take a couple hours of my time every time, thats the whole point of making shortcut for them so every one that disappears is a HUGE inconvenience for me. Its SO UNRELIABLE
