Create and archive documentation for the R&D tax credit
The R&D Substantiator is a free activity tracker that helps companies create, maintain, and archive the documentation required to file for the US R&D Credit. It has two parts (both of which are free). First is the Substantiator Extension which allows engineers/programmmers/scientists to log their activities directly from Chrome. The second part is the R&D Substantiator webApp which allows tax directors, CPA's, or consultants to set up numerous campaigns. Each campaign includes information about the employees, such as the product they worked on along with their projects and activities.
The person administering the campaigns can print out an organizational chart, along with downloading of recent activities, projects, and business components. Data is downloaded into an Excel spreadsheet. The Substantiator Extension also allows the employees to fill out "surveys" which is useful in documenting previous years projects.
The historical data is held in a "mission critical" cloud database and can be downloaded on demand by your administrator. Whether you need the data right now, or 3 years from now, the data is available, real-time.
By installing the extension, you agree to Substantiator's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
