• (2024-03-19) unknown user: been using this for a long time, it the best period!! But recently i realize a new tap always opens up, refreshes and closes whenever i visit a new page. Why is this happening?? I've update my review. I started losing some highlights when pages refresh. I email support but never got a reply
• (2023-06-14) David Brooks: Just doesn't work. Highlighted page then refresh, 80% of highlights are gone, then add a new highlight and refresh, all gone except the last highlight. It only has one job to do and it doesn't do that. Not fit for purpose.
• (2023-01-06) Katalin Csillag: It works pretty good for me, I like it, but it has a feature that bothers me and a bug(I guess?): Feature: I can only find my highlighted pages under the folder of the month. I highlight those sentences because I might want to get back to it later, like months or even years later and I won't remember which folder should I look into - I believe if there would be a folder called 'new' (where the newly highlighted pages go) and if we could make new, custom folders and move the pages from one to another would be a big help. The bug: or I might just be dumb, but after clicking on the "Import" button ('Import your Google Bookmarks (you need to be signed in) into Chrome Bookmarks. This will create a 'Yawas' folder at the root of your Chrome Bookmarks) I lost all of my pages from the folder and don't find it anywhere (as there is no Yawas folder in the root). I am in the middle of a book and had (thank God, 'just') 2 chapters highlighted but now they are gone.

• (2022-05-17) Jessica Peace: I installed Yawas as I thought it would be really helpful when doing research for Uni. I spent more than two hours reading an article and made 70+ highlights. The next day I went back to review what I found so I could write my essay and none of my highlights were saved. I was a little upset, but I was going to re-read the article anyway in case there were things I missed in my first read. I started reading and highlighting for a second time, refreshed my page and the highlights disappeared again. Not. Happy. Jan!

I think if there is parameter,We could not use Yawas. getliner is $9.99 for month. I would like to use Yawas!! So I cheer for a Yawas!!

• (2017-10-12) stuart lynne: I have been using YAWAS for years.... but almost gave up on it as it did work correctly for the last year or two. Failing to login. Finally figured out the solution. I have two factor authentication enabled. Manually opening bookmarks.google.com and getting through the 2-factor authentication fixes the problem. So back to five star rating!

  Hello, I have been using this tool since 2013, but off late as with many of recent reviews people give, highlights keep disappearing when the page refreshes. Is this something you are aware of and it's been looked at? I really hope this issue is fixed so so highlighting can be fun again as it used to... thanks PS. Win 10 Pro (64bit) in Chrome latest update

  It's not clear from your description what the keyboard shortcut is. I don't see anything when I mouse over a highlight. If I right click there's a Yawas submenu in the context menu, but that's too slow.

  I've read in one review that instead of shift + ctrl + y you should use b for blue, g for green, etc. but this doesn't do anything for me. I've tried a bunch of other combinations to no avail. And always having to open the menu to change colour is very inconvenient.

  When I mouse over highlighted text, I get only two options/icons: Twitter and Email. It will be nice to have "Note/comment" and everything else (colors, etc.) appear ALL on mouse over. Having to choose from the context-menu means doing more clicking... Thank you!

  On Chrome Version 77.0.3865.90, Yawas opens a new tab on every highlight and/or tabs pointing to https://www.google.com/bookmarks/find?output=rss. Apart from that, it would try to authenticate against Google and it will fail.

  Hi, On any website, as soon as my selection contains a newline, I get an error message! is this intended? Text is seperated into paragraphs for easier reading by humans. Why can't I select the entire block I want to annotate and remember, instead of seperately marking each paragraph? Thanks, Sven

  When I try to use YAWAS it says it is not logged in. This is with the Linux version of Chrome. I can sometimes get YAWAS to login by disabling it and reenabling. But then it will typically run only for a few minutes. I have been using YAWAS for years, but unfortunately not very successfully for about two. Thanks.

  Is Yawas working? When I try to highlight something a note pops up saying it would save the highlight and asks me to sign in - but doesn't provide a way to do that.
