SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.
You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.
This is open source and the entire database is public.

Access your data for youtube.com, www.youtube-nocookie.com:
- Used to modify the YouTube webpage
Data usage explanations:
"Authentication Information": When you install the extension, it will generate a random "userID" that is used when submitting or voting. This allows you to appear on the leaderboard and helps determine reputation of submissions.
With this extension, you will automatically skip YouTube sponsors.

- Almost as necessary as uBlock Origin. I hope there a feature can be added for users to flag pinned comments as sponsored and hide them.

- Is there any way to watch an auto-skipped section without hitting Unskip? Like by rewinding or clicking on the progress bar? Right now, it forces the skip and only lets me watch from after the section.

- Works well for the auto system id sponsors, but trying to submit a sponsor portion is not possible as once you click on the video time line to precisely establish the start/stop the extension pop up disappears using Brave Browser.

- Works great, and the community of users are doing an amazing job flagging sections. Feature request: An 'AI-slop' button. YouTube is getting spammed with low quality AI content. I think users would appreciate seeing a flag on content so they can avoid clicking it altogether.

- Decent but still has room for improvement. I found a video where someone is commenting on another video, where the commenter takes an hour to review a 10 minute video. So I wanted to put highlights where the original video gets played to help people skip the commenter's droning on about points he's covered ad nauseum in previous videos, only to find just one of my highlights actually got saved.

- I love Sponsorblock but, it does have one glaring issue. It does not work in the Chrome browser for Windows.
