Description from store Improve your writing with spelling, grammar, paraphrase, and autocomplete suggestions. Spell check and grammar checking and correction for your writing in Chrome. Rephrasing/paraphrase, autocomplete, and snippets/canned messages/text expander as well. Sapling is an AI extension that makes grammar, rephrase, and autocomplete suggestions to help you write on-point messages and content. Sapling uses deep learning technology (akin to GPT-2/GPT-3) to provide the best recommendations. Use Sapling to: • Correct spelling/typos (e.g. grammer) and use as a grammar checker or to rephrase. • Write fluent messages, emails, and documents. • Maintain professional writing tone across your business team. Sapling goes beyond spelling, punctuation, and grammar correction. Features include: • 60% more grammar mistakes caught than other tools. • Compare for yourself against tools like Grammarly (Grammerly), LanguageTool, WhiteSmoke, ProWritingAid, and Quillbot. • Better grammar and writing suggestions over time. Rephrase (premium): AI-powered rephrasing and paraphrasing. • Similar to other tools such as Quillbot and Wordtune but with no usage limit. • Rephrase and make formal. • Split and modify the tone of sentences. Autocomplete Everywhere (premium): AI-powered autocomplete suggestions across various CRM and messaging platforms. • Sapling predicts what you'll type and saves you time—just hit [tab] or [`] to accept. Snippets (premium): Canned messages / snippets / macros. • Quickly search and insert commonly used messages to save time (similar to TextExpander or TextBlaze). • Share knowledge and templates across your team (similar to Guru). Secure data processing: • Sapling undergoes external testing and audits. • Enterprise-grade security policies and procedures. • Sapling also provides an API and self-hosted offering. Works with your writing on Outlook, Zendesk, Salesforce (Lightning, Quip), ServiceNow, and more. • Google Docs plugin also available: https://sapling.ai/docs English is supported by default; Chinese, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, and Portuguese are also offered (check the Sapling settings dashboard). • (2023-11-02) Tom Hunt: As a startup, we strive to maintain a professional appearance in everything we do. Whether it is modeling our business, marketing our products, or reaching out to investors, we know that the way we present ourselves will have a lasting impact on how we are perceived by others. That is why we spent a lot of time and energy reviewing all the major grammar and spell checker solutions on the market. There was only one that stood out from the rest in terms of accuracy and ease of use across various applications. The clear winner is Sapling Grammar Checker. As an AI innovator who works with industry-leading large language models such as ChatGPT, Bing, and Bard, we found that only Sapling met our needs effectively in the AI chat environments. This was a crucial factor and a deal-breaker for choosing any of the other solutions. Now that we have experienced the Sapling way, we are not going back. We highly recommend Sapling Grammar Checker to anyone who wants to improve their writing and communication skills. That is our goal as we innovate the future for SMBs.
  • (2023-10-14) Alfie Lau: Sapling is a great extension for grammar checking! . I find it more accurate than Grammarly or ProWritingAid.
  • (2023-10-12) Jo Balmforth: I am just getting my head around ai stuff and Sapling is proving a useful tool. Great how it is integrated with other everyday tools.
  • (2023-09-30) Denny Lenselink: English is acceptable, I suppose, but the grammatical structure and spelling in Dutch leave much to be desired. It would be advisable to eliminate them from your system. Moreover, if my language preferences are set to English, it would be prudent to skip checking Dutch text. It's of no value for Dutch and serves poorly as a multilingual tool.
  • (2023-09-24) Andrei: Sapling is a very cool app. very useful!
  • (2023-07-05) Regina Nthenya: I enjoyed my sapling and my documents during online writing were error free. I got a 5 star all the time and I would certainly recommend it to friends.
  • (2023-04-22) Bob Bobson: Sapling is great, I use the API as well and it is well documented and easy to use.
  • (2023-04-06) David: Sapling is most versatile and functional grammar checker I have worked with.
  • (2023-03-24) Leticia Luna: I loved this application. I like it very much to improve my German writing.
  • (2023-03-07) Tony McDow: This is the first AI application that sold me on the value of AI for day to day productivity. By integrating into your daily writing tools, you can become a great writer over night without having to change how you work and you don't have to become an expert in writing chat prompts. I highly recommend it!
  • (2023-03-03) Hazel Dasco: very helpful
  • (2023-02-15) Pocholo Pantano: Very helpful!
  • (2023-02-15) Nick Pandit: As an Instructor for a local Community College in Toronto, I have been checking out AI programs that would be of assistance to my students. Without mentioning any other names, Sapling seems to be the best of the lot. It is at the top of my list. Yes; I did try out the most popular one; the one you see advertised on TV and the Internet all the time. However, Sapling is more user friendly and seamless in putting forward editing suggestions. Plus, the option of a "free trial period" is a BIG bonus. Many of the other vendors do not offer this "free trial option." In sum, when the next semester begins in May 2023, for my students, I will strongly recommend choosing Sapling over one of the competitors. This is a GREAT program for any student or professional needing assistance with proofreading and/or editing...
  • (2023-02-03) J V: Sapling is very well designed writing tool that can eliminate misspelled words and grammar mistakes. I have found it to be much more accurate than Grammarly or ProWritingAid. It also has a very well designed plugin for Microsoft Outlook even on a Mac computer which is hard to find anywhere else. The tech support is excellent and comes from the owner himself with fast response times. I could not ask for anything better. Try it out and see for yourself!
  • (2023-01-20) Team Jiftip: Everyday, we appreciate using Sapling.ai tools. The snippets feature is the most awesome tool, we use it many times each day to save time copy/pasting. Check it out.

  • (2022-07-30) Trần Tuấn Anh Lê: Execellent. Perfect. Thật tuyệt vời!
  • (2021-08-06) Shivani Rajesh Kumar: It's not working in Google Docs at all! I made a spelling error and it didn't suggest anything. I checked my essay and noticed it. Won't let me sign in, tried multiple times. Works decently in other apps so this is a 3 star app.
  • (2021-07-13) Cocoa Nutte: Sapling.ai I just learned how to use the snippets feature. How do I love thee? Let me count the words. Awesome. From your biggest fan in the whole world.
  • (2021-05-08) Zephan Wu: good but no longer free :(
  • (2021-02-05) John So: It is alright, but I am having problems while using it on Google chrome. For unknown reasons, it keep on crashing. It suddenly stop working and says an error has occurred. Is there a way to fix this?
  • (2021-01-20) Mike Spence: Really like it but have two bits of feedback - Would like the potential to move the red dot from the bottom right corner to somewhere else. Some text boxes can only be made bigger in bottom right corner which makes life hard when the Sapling circle sits on top of the extender! - More than anything, would absolutely love the ability for it to autocorrect my spelling to the suggestion provided!!!! Extension works perfectly as described though
  • (2020-12-31) WAHAPY VIETNAM: I love this extension, it very good and is smart. Thank team
  • (2020-12-29) Kingsfork Hospitality: 😍"This is what I wanted" Must have app😍
  • (2020-12-27) James Davis: Really nice, but ridiculously expensive for the pro version at $25. a month X 12 months = $300. a year. Seriously; what are they thinking? Talk about dramatically limited your user base! Also, the free version is extremely annoying to use since the popup is always displaying things that are only in the expensive version and so constituents a frequently and distracting nag!
  • (2020-11-17) king dedede 2: ok guys i trust you in the 5 star rating. lol
  • (2020-10-28) Rishab Dang: Pathetic experience. I came specially to write this review just because of one thing. If you are not their paid user than they outline your incorrect text, saying that his can also be corrected for paid user, and then there is an option to ignore it, that ignore button in their tool does not work properly, it never word properly, and it is kind of frustrated. They have purposely made it like that ignore button under and dump yellow line don't go.
  • (2020-10-15) Alex Justask: it couldn't let me sign up, I tried different email and still I receive the same message below. please fix it Error: Disallowed email domain.
  • (2020-10-10) Monsur Ahmed: It is very helpful o me.
  • (2020-10-03) Adam H: Doesn't recognize the word "Christ." Seems like a bit of an oversight. Back to Grammarly *Sigh*
  • (2020-09-24) Mst. Taslima Nasrin: I found it very helpful.
  • (2020-07-31) Cassandra Rommel: Sapling has been a low effort way to ensure my emails are high quality. I don't worry about proof reading anymore because I've come to expect a nice little suggestion to pop up. I've gotten to learn a few things about proper grammar as I use it more.
  • (2020-07-28) William W: the app wont let me sign in
  • (2020-07-11) Of course it helps! Even now, reducing my sentences (thoughts) closer to children's IQ.
  • (2020-07-02) Sanjay Singh: It's a wonderful extension not only for beginner but also for a pro learner. It really helps.

  • (2019-04-07) Aryan Sawhney: By far the best grammar checker in the market. Directly competes with the premium versions of Grammarly and Ginger and is better depite it being free. Just love the extension and hope you can add free support for more websites.

Try hard to avoid those things that keep you from saving. If you are fond of buying shoes even if you don't really need them, try very hard to stay away from them. Keep yourself away from shoe stores so that you will not be tempted to buy one.

  • (2020-10-28, v:2.0.9.2) Christopher Boyd: Interferes with HTML Editors
We have an HTML WYSIWYG drag-and-drop editor on our site and Sapling creates attributes and modifies the content, creating issues. Is there documentation explaining how to flag a div and it's contents to be ignored by Sapling? Grammarly has a similar method to say "ignore this and all children elements".

This extension is pretty good at catching grammatical errors. It's why I installed it. However, it still misses at quite a few basic ones. For example, this sentence is not getting highlighted: I do not color blind. I suspect it's because the word "blind" can also be a verb.
