But read the privacy practices and linked privacy policy (https://languagetool.org/legal/privacy) which are on the extension's page. This extension not only collects every imaginable type of data, it also analyzes it. For example "If you explicitly ignore correction suggestions, we anonymously store the internal ID of this error rule and the text fragment underlined as incorrect and 15 characters to the right and left of it. This allows us to detect false alarms from our system and avoid them in the future." Anonymous or not, that snippet of text could reveal personal information, banking information, safety information, etc. Scary stuff. There are other concerning terms like this in their privacy policy. The extension may work well but you will end up divulging lots of information in the process.

  Since a couple of days, the pop-up changed to a dark mode color, which I like. But I noticed after clicking (LMB) on the underlined word, I can't replace the word with one of the suggestions (LMB). The pop-up closes, but the word would not be replaced. After reinstalling the add-on, the tool work for some words, but then stopped working again.
