Llista de llengües compatibles: anglès (australià, canadenc, GB, neozelandès, sud-africà, nord-americà), francès, alemany (Àustria, alemany, suís), asturià, bielorús, bretó, català (també valencià), xinès, danès, holandès, Esperanto, gallec, grec, italià, japonès, khmer, persa, polonès, portuguès (Brasil, Portugal, Angola, Moçambic), romanès, rus, eslovac, eslovè, espanyol, suec, tagàlog, tàmil, ucraïnès

- Used LT for as long as I can remember. Good few years anyway. To now make it premium (paid) to use the browser extention is REALLY below the belt. Lots of FREE alternatives out there. LT was just my go-to. It's my guess, they will live to REGRET that descision. Uninstalled.

- worked prety well, but they decided to offer only paid version so that is a no go for me. sorry

- Does what it says (with a cherry on top). A great alternative to most, if not ALL grammar checkers, spell checkers, paraphrasers, et cetera. Would recommend to an Apple or Google One user. Might need to loosen the Basic restrictions so you can squeeze at least some revenue from Basic users. 4 out of 5 stars.

- Invades privacy, isn't free anymore and requires a premium subscription to work, Harper is much better and also truely opensource.

- Forcing a paid only version to include AI. That is just shameful. There's not even a less expensive AI-free version, that I WOULD HAVE SUBSCRIBED TO IF LESS EXPENSIVE. Now it's just hilariously expensive.

- Bad Marketing move you did. wasn't clean to "kick-out" user with this way even if im able to pay i won't pay with this way. specially there is TONS of tools doing the same. little or more not asking payment with this way :). good luck and try to check this way you put the limitaiton you will drop lot

- made is paid only, subscription price is too high for what youre actually getting
- OlangaHD
- It was a great service until today, when the message appeared that it can now only be used with payment. I hope this decision will be reversed once more than ninety-five percent of users uninstall the extension. It’s a real shame, but it is what it is. Tip for anyone who now needs a free alternative: take a look at QuillBot. EDIT: They do actually link to QuillBot after uninstalling, which I find pretty fair.

- Now - paid only. Sorry there is a sea of free spellcheckers, bye.
- Wallace Dittman
- Be careful with this tool. Since they've switched to the paid subscription mode, it still disables your native browser grammar checker if you have LanguageTool installed. It means you may inadvertently skip a mistake. Delete it immediately, if you are not planning on switching to the paid model.

- This Gemini newsiest tool addition and AI code assistant have improved significantly and added much-needed value to my project.

- Great app to learn new concepts for English learners.

- I was looking for a spellcheck extension that was just that, no AI recommendations on how to phrase my own sentences, etc. This was it, no AI slop and bloat, just spellcheck. And it supports my main languages: Dutch, French, English and German. Recently has gone paid to use the extension and/or desktop app, but to me this is understandable considering the server costs they occur. So far they have been supported by the EU, so it might be this support is waning and they need to fund themselves. The API itself is still open source and available on github so, if you know what you're doing, and can follow instructions, you can still run the extension locally: https://languagetool.org/dev

- Suddenly not free anymore. Bye bye

- Works perfectly and so easy to use I love the Chrome extension except the one problem I have is that app doesn't support most writing platforms.

- Now only reserved for paid users, power and money hungry.

- Developers are most likely paying, botting, and/or making positive reviews for this dog water extension. Probably trying to bury the bad reviews and keep the stars high so people think it's good and worth paying for.

- I like it for the most part, I did end up buying a yearly subscription, it's a lot less than Grammarly although Grammarly is better, imo, but its 3x the price. I would like to see an option to include certain words and their grammar in the dictionary. Some word I want to be capitalized and I don't like to continuously deal with the Grammar checker to clear the "error" of capitalization.

- So, developers are complaining that it has become difficult for them to compete, and that's why they are making features that used to be free now paid? If that's your development strategy, then I hope you go out of business soon, since you can't come up with anything new and are just making old features paid.

- I love it and It's free.

- Suddenly became a paid extension, "due to AI', so buy premium so we can force AI down your throat in our premium extension. Nope, don't think so. I'll try to find another one, I just need it for spell check anyway. Also be careful, apparently QuillBot is a sister company.

- Shame to see a great freemium tool becoming premium only...
- Anonymous
- Too bad it's going the paid road. What about add-ons, like in Thunderbird? That is not in the FAQs what is going to happen to them. edit: https://languagetool.org/premium has the answer. In the next to each other Basic and Premium overview, all the way down under Apps, Thunderbird is the only app still supported under Basic coverage.

- Even though it goes only premium, I understand it, and per year it's cheap, so no complaints. As someone who uses more than one language, this is the best extension I could find. Yeah, sometimes it does not pick the correct word, etc. but nothing is perfect.
