Description from store Supported by over 725 libraries in more than 30 countries! LibKey Nomad automatically provides instant links to full text content for article subscribed to by your library - or open access alternatives - as you do research on the web and come across literature. In each case, Nomad works with your subscribing library to figure out the fastest path to content across thousands of publisher websites. Special enhancement is also performed in-line on sites like PubMed and Wikipedia. After installation, LibKey Nomad prompts you to select your subscribing institution. After that, it simply automatically scans for scholarly content wherever you may roam.

  • (2023-03-06) Tabitha Ochtera: As another reviewer said, it's important to remember that this is tied to your library (like a College or University library). It does work great with pubmed and google scholar but I appreciate that it also works on publishers websites - many of our patrons go to the journal's website first and this will direct them back to full text / the library. This extension (and ThirdIron products) have been upgraded over the years to include features like Retraction Watch and, recently, the ability to view e-books.
  • (2021-03-16) Tracy Lee: Please note that this extension is related to your institution's library, if your school library doesn't have access to that article or journal, then you can't get the PDF, but it will try to find an alternative link for you. Overall, still a great tool, like it.
