Changelog

0.6: Manifest v3 compatibility. Minimum Chrome version 102.

0.5: Updated icons to match Chrome's new Material theme.

0.4: Replaced scary <all_urls> permission with "activeTab". Consequently, minimum Chrome version bumped to 26.

0.3: Removed "tabs" permission. Turns out it isn't needed to call chrome.tabs.executeScript.

I have to click this multiple times in quick succession to try and stop a page loading. It is not (yet) as good as the older "Stop Loading Already" Extension which has now disappeared.

Does not work for me. Pressing this STOP button does nothing, pages keep loading. Even the animated loading image on the tab keeps rotating endlessly.

A simple extension to do a simple thing and stop pages from continuing to load. How is this so rare? Its the perfect way to stop all those add-blocker blockers begging for a whitelist.

Works as described, which is a separate Stop button that Chrome lacks, to keep a page from loading.

I wanted this to work like the stop button in Firefox, so that when I am on a page with animated gifs, clicking this should stop them moving. But it doesn't do anything. Most disappointing.
