• (2023-11-18) TOMMY BUSSEY: i have been looking for this exact web scraper functionality for awhile now and i have tested at least 10 other extensions none of which were what i needed nor were any of them accurately describing their app in the chrome store, this extension had a listing that actually held true and that is rare in this day and age, plus it's super easy to use and works exactly as i needed so thanks to the devs that built this and the UI folks too :)

• (2023-10-07) Katie Claessens: It looks like an awesome free option. I had it scrape from a directory where a business name was listed on the top line, then the contact at that business, then the contact's title, then the street address, then the city, state and zip, then the phone number. Each business was listed in a box of its own, one record after the other, on a VERY long scrolling page. Unfortunately, the only things it could recognize separately was the business name at the top line and the line with the city, state and zip on it. I ended up just having it select each business's whole block of data and downloading that as one record in each cell in a CSV file and then used Excel's "Text To Columns" tool to separate the data. Fortunately, the data came with a backslash in between each of the lines of data so that made it easier. I tried the method their video shows you how to do where, if it's not accurate selecting the right set of data, you can change the coding in the top left corner but, I could not figure out which part of the code to delete. Too complicated. But, at least I was able to get my data off the site.

• (2023-07-24) Frantz Pinard: The application is good. Takes a bit of time getting used to but the communication support is sub-par. Not the best feeling signing up for tier that includes chat-support, especially for someone who is not necessarily tech-saavy and getting minimal interaction. This needs to be improved.

• (2023-06-08) Dexter Gillette: If it wasn't advertised as free, I'd give it 4-5 stars because it works extremely well. You get 100 credits to start learning and once you use them, your balance of remaining credits remains at zero which means everything you set up will not work again unless you subscribe. The cheapest tier is $35/month or over $400/year. Far from free. I'd increase the rating if they offered a limited entry tier @ $5/month.

• (2023-04-03) david palanuk: I was pleasantly surprised to go through the process of selecting a l*nked*n job search results scraper recipe from the 'recipe' store in the extensions dashboard, copy and paste my personally tailored and filtered l*nked*n job search results page url into the recipe provided, select the number of pages to scrape and the columns of data properties to capture, and even install another 3rd party extension that was required to obtain the l*nked*n cookies array necessary to scrape behind the login (which most tools require a premium subscriber license in order to scrape behind login webpages), and actually be able to download the scraped results into a .csv file without the annoying 'want to see the results? Just pay us money to see your file!' It was truly free from start to finish, a very difficult thing to achieve these days when dealing with capturing data from l*nked*n...any recruiter and / or sales development or market research, b2b lead gen, marketing, digital, social, or any other role / title is well aware of by this point. We'll see how long it lasts, but so far, i absolutely give credit where credit is due. Thanks SimpleScraper. You've blown me away.

For me, that became clear only after I spent a ton of time figuring out how to use it, which was hard and frustrating. I find this highly misleading and would not recommend this scraper.

Each page displays about 10 results. I am currently unable to select all the fields that I want to extract since, with the exception of the first column, it does not permit me to do column selection. Please advise how to resolve this.

  I really liked the application, but on the Youtube service it retrieves the wrong links. For example, on the Videos tab, we extract links pointing to the name of the video, and after extraction, activating any of them opens the Home tab, although the video playback page should open.
