• (2023-05-23) Colin Reynolds: Avoid using this Extension, you may not get the best rate of cashback available. I recently used the Extension whilst opening an HSBC Bank Account. The extension reported the CashBack rate was £30. I recevied the email to state it had tracked later the same day. I went to look at the Quidco website and noticed the Cashback was advertised at £40 via the website. I have since also had 2 promotional emails promoting this rate of cashback. I contacted Quidco thinking it was a simple mistake with the extension and they would rectify it immediately and investigate the error. Instead they have tried to claim it was due to me being a Standard cashback account and the £40 rate was only available to Premium Members. This was simply an incorrect excuse. In both emails and the website, there was zero mention of it exclusive to Premium account holders (nor have I ever received any marketing targeted to premium members). I would recommend removing this extension and going exclusively via Quidco.com, or alternatively use it only to remind you that a site offers Cashback and then go via Quidco.com, otherwise you may not receive the best rate of cashback offered. Very disappointed as most of my interactions with Quidco have been positive until now, and I've been using them for years and acheived almost £1,000 in cashback.
• (2022-12-09) Justin Lawrence: I love Quidco, but really struggle with the new extension. I find the box to be too large and intrusive and then, once I activate the cashback am confronted by another box of the same size that I have to dismiss. Suggestion: please make the 'Activate cashback' box a thin line above the top of the web page, with the option to 'activate', 'disable for this site' and close button. Then make the 'cashback activated' message show as a brief message in the same place, that slides away after 2 seconds. (If your designers prefer the big box, perhaps this a setting called 'discrete mode'). Thank you.

• (2022-04-26) Phil Wheatley: A Scam, pure and simple. Says "Cashback Activated" when you browse to a partner website but CASHBACK DOESN'T TRACK. Delete this extension now as all it does is add another layer of cookie tracking to your browser and doesn't even register your visit for cashback like you think it will so you gain nothing from installing it (but Quidco do). If you want Quidco cashback go via the Quidco website and unclutter your browser a bit because this extension is total BS. DOES NOT DO WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN!!

• (2021-03-10) Borislav Nikov: If you want to be sure (again not 100% - Quidco is drawning down as a service) you should use this extension ONLY as a reminder. Go to the website and click the link to the store from there. Hate is as if I count just the last year I have at least 1000 GBP purchases not counted.

To test this, go to something like https://csp.withgoogle.com/docs/index.html and open the Developer Console with Quidco Extension installed on Chrome. Observe the font errors.
• (2020-01-29) Marcus Tucker: It pops up every time you visit a site that Quidco has a cashback for, which is many, and thus quite annoying and easy to ignore (why not an auto-cashback option?), plus when it does appear it doesn't say anything about what % or £ cashback is available and/or provide a link to find out (why not?) so the extension falls pretty far short of its potential IMHO. However it's more useful than not having it at all, hence my "OK" rating.

  Hi Quidco, Is it possible to add an exception list for specific websites to this extension? My employer offers cashback via Quidco but whenever I go to any internal company site, because it uses the same domain I'm constantly being asked to enable cashback. I know I can create a list of sites I allow, but is it possible to add the opposite, sites that are exceptions? Thanks so much :)

  After getting a few pop-ups nagging me to update my Quidco chrome extension, I did finally delete my "old" extension and install the new one. Unfortunately I absolutely hate it. I do not want my search results page changed to include large "Quidco headers" above each individual result. I was quite happy with and would like to return to just having pop-ups reminding me of cashback possibilities. How do either: a) modify options in current extension to make it work as above b) find and re-install the old extension (I can no longer find it in the chrome web store)
