He has redefined how ServiceNow can be used, and I cannot begin to guess how many hours of effort he has saved the community. A must have for ServiceNow users of every level.
  • (2023-10-03) Chris Helming: This app is truly exceptional, delivering outstanding features even when you're not fully exploring its capabilities. It seamlessly handles so many little things that you'll begin to question whether certain functionalities are native to ServiceNow or an ingenious addition courtesy of SNUtils. I can't imagine developing on the ServiceNow platform without it.
  • (2023-10-02) Aivaras Gončarovas: Amazing, however does anyone know if switching node you're logged in works? I couldn't make it happen with a plugin
  • (2023-07-03) Contacto A-Soft: It really works and makes the work easier!!< I really appreciate this tool, thanks from Mexico!

  • (2021-11-19) Mark Evans: Invaluable extension. Cannot recommend highly enough. PS - it's not just for on-prem instances! If you have a cloud hosted instance with a custom URL you can use this version
  • (2021-09-16) Georgi Yordanov: Using this daily... My life has become way easier after I started using this extention! Biggest features for me are the field/table names shown next to the labels. Another very useful feature is double-clicking a filter and an pop-up appears where you can edit the filter which is 10/10 ! Highly advice everyone developing on SNOW to use the SN Utils.. Thanks for the great work for developing this extention!

  • (2023-10-23, v:7.1.5.2) Dominik Meier: Slash command crashes
Hello, since last week slash command crashes frequently. I open slash command and enter a command. When I want to execute the command nothing happens and I am no longer able to close or reexecute the slash command. Is this a known issue and is there a solution for that? ServiceNow without snutils is not as much fun ;-). Thanks for your help.
  • (2023-04-12, v:6.4.0.5) Eric Gilmore: Slash command working oddly
ver 6.4.0.5 browsers {Chrome, Edge} SN: Tokyo (not using Next UI) Just noticed that when I attempt to use the slash command "/tn" that it's no longer doing what it did in the past. I'm not seeing the technical names just after the label anymore on the main form. The technical names are showing up for fields on Related lists attached to the form however.
  • (2022-11-07, v:6.2.1.0) Kevin Leonard: GCC domain
We are in the GCC environment. Not on Prem but not commercial either. Using the on_prem version to make your magical plugin do it's magic, but when we try to use the /env type of slashcommands, they don't work because they are hard coded to service-now domain. We are on the servicenowservices domain. Maybe I'm missing it, but seems there should be a way in the settings to tell the plugin what your domain is so that these sorts of things generate with the correct url. no? has this already been asked a million times??? sorry.
  • (2022-04-07, v:5.6.3.0) ServiceNow Waters: Logging Expandable Objects in Server Scripts?
Hello Arnoud, Do you have any advice on being able to easily log object in an expand/collapse fashion when writing/debugging a server side script? Similar to how Chrome's console logs an object when you type "console.log("Object: %o",{test: "test"})"? It is easy enough to write scripts in the background scripts module, but gs.log(object) leaves much to be desired compared to Chrome's expandable/collapsible output in the above example. I find it odd that there is not a powerful, native object logging feature in ServiceNow. Am I missing something and/or does or could your SN Utils provide a solution for this need? Thank you for your time! Kind Regards, Joseph W
  • (2021-07-29, v:5.2.0.2) Arnoud Kooi: Navigator Filter Issue in v5.2.0.2
Unfortunately in version 5.2.0.2 there is a Issue with the Navigator Filter. I published a fix but it takes some time to approve. In the meantime, use slashcommand /nav or temporary disable the extension.
  • (2020-06-29, v:4.0.5.1) Sébastien Lavoie: Slash command
It seems the slash shortcut doesn't work with this add-on as it does with the other SN Utils tool. Am I doing something wrong?
  • (2020-03-10, v:3.6.1.5) Roman Haas: VSCode Sync not working on macOS since today?
Hey there, since today two of us (using MacBook Pro) cannot use the vs script sync anymore. The guy with a windows machine can still use it. Do you know any solution for that? The Chrome plugin itself seems to work properly, its also connected to vs code and clicking on a script include in ServiceNow just doesn't open the file in vs code. Thanks for your help
  • (2019-03-22, v:3.2.1.4) Keyboard shortcut for pop-in pop-out doesn't work with a custom url
While the context menu works great just like it does in any other instance. The custom url doesn't appear to work. How the URLs look when I attempt pop in/out Trying to pop-out chrome-extension://lfabkiipmidkmhplochgpbaeekjjfbch/htt/home.do Trying to pop-in chrome-extension://lfabkiipmidkmhplochgpbaeekjjfbch/htt/nav_to.do?uri=s%3A%2F%2FcustomURL.Here%2Fhome.do
