Description from extension meta

Fix the soft word-wrap not working in InfoPath for SharePoint Sites.

Image from store InfoPath word-wrap fixer
Description from store Several SharePoint Sites using InfoPath forms do not support word-wrap for (HTML) text area elements. There are workarounds which require modifying style sheets (CSS) for each SharePoint Site. These workarounds need to be applied on a site-by-site basis, and they are not supported by some newer SharePoint Sites. This extension bypasses the problem and directly applies the fix to the text areas in all SharePoint Sites that are sub-domains of sharepoint.com. Available also for Firefox at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/infopath-word-wrap-fixer/. If you need to fix area text elements in any websites, see https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cmiebacajlhfnfdofcflofoaaikdbpbc.

I am getting message "Package is invalid: 'CRX_HEADER_INVALID'." while adding the "infopath word-wrap fixer" extension. How do I fix this issue?
  • (2021-05-03, v:1.0) Chris Johnston: Is there an extension that does the opposite of this?
I'm looking for an extension that does the opposite of this. When editing pages on wikidot for example, it automatically word-wraps but when I'm editing large tables it gets very complicated to keep track of which are new lines and which are wrapped lines, and which columns line up when the text wraps.
  • (2020-03-31, v:1.0) Jason Chapa: internal sharepoint usage
How do I make it work on internal versions of Sharepoint? Thank you.
  • (2020-01-13, v:1.0) Alan Courtenay: Having the same capability for other browsers
Hi there and thanks for this capability. It seems to work well and digs me out of part of the ongoing holes caused by no ongoing development of InfoPath. It's a great shame Microsoft have just left one of their really useful applications to fade away. However I was wondering if you had looked at adding this as a capability to other browsers such as Edge and Firefox? If you have anything to suggest / guidance for this I'd appreciate understanding this. Regards. Alan C.
