Return YouTube Dislike restores the ability to see dislikes on YouTube.
Starting December 13th 2021, YouTube removed the ability to see dislikes from their API.
This extension aims to restore power to users by using a combination of archived like and dislike data, as well as the likes and dislikes made by extension users to show the most accurate ratings.
Currently has almost a billion videos data stored before December 13th, 2021
Actively growing and keeping up to date with uploads after December 13th, 2021
The more users that use the extension, the more accurate it will be
Unpopular videos uploaded after December 13th, 2021 may have less accurate data shown than more popular videos.
This extension is currently in an active development phase, so if you experience any issues, don’t hesitate to report them on our GitHub page or in our Discord server.

- I created this 5 star review because I think it's unfair to downvote this thing with one star reviews when a browser update broke it and the developer knows about it and is releasing a fix. This is still an awesome extension that restores NECESSARY functionality to YouTube that has been stripped out for no valid reason. It's part of the pack I install on every computer I touch and I am thankful that it exists. Thank you, good sir developer! Good work!!

- Hasn't been working at all lately (last month or two as of this review). Completely blocks me from disliking any video. Still shows the number of dislikes, but makes me unable to click the dislike button. So, what's the point of this extension? Please fix this. Edit: Google made it a pain to read the other reviews. Sorry, Dmitrii. I see your replies to other comments about the same issue. I hope you can figure it out.

- Doesn't seem to be working, using this extension has removed my ability to dislike a video. Does not show thumbs down icon, only number. Also, dislike count is not actual amount of dislikes but just an estimate based on dislikes from users of this "return youtube dislikes" extension.

- Giving 5 stars to combat the 1 stars from people who don't understand that extensions and apps that interact with other apps need to be patched and updated by developers sometimes when things break. Alas, Youtube did something causing the thumbs down extesions to no longer work atm. I've had this extension for a year and this is the first time it broke. Will wait patiently for it to update again. Good luck, devs!

- This extension is amazing! I would've given this 5 stars, but for some reason, the dislike icon (the thumbs down icon) just randomly disappeared. I've tried looking in the extension settings, but there was no way to fix it. I tried disabling the extension, then re-enabling it, but it's still missing. I don't know what's happened. Please fix this.

- Yeah, so, this project has actually been abandoned for a long time now. It's only continued to mostly work for as long as it has because YouTube hadn't made any changes that broke it.

- The extension used to work well, but recently the dislike (thumb‑down) icon disappeared. Now only the number shows, and other people can’t understand that it represents dislikes. Without the icon, the feature becomes confusing and much less useful.

I swear, every time they 'update' their sh*tty website, it always seems to cause extensions like this to break; hopefully, it's just a temporary issue, one which will be resolved within a few days... course, if the rumours are true & the uploader is REALLY trying to turn this into a 'paid' service, well... let's just say, I WON'T be amused!
