Return YouTube Dislike restores the ability to see dislikes on YouTube.
Starting December 13th 2021, YouTube removed the ability to see dislikes from their API.
This extension aims to restore power to users by using a combination of archived like and dislike data, as well as the likes and dislikes made by extension users to show the most accurate ratings.
Currently has 200+ million videos likes/dislikes data stored before December 13th, 2021
Actively growing and keeping up to date with uploads after December 13th, 2021
The more users that use the extension, the more accurate it will be
Unpopular videos uploaded after December 13th, 2021 may have less accurate data shown than more popular videos.
This extension is currently in an active development phase, so if you experience any issues, don’t hesitate to report them on our GitHub page or in our Discord server.
More features to come soon!

- Now it's adding its own ads into my Youtube UI. No thanks bro.

- premium sub for made up stats? nah thanks.

- Ads + forcing premium. Nope

- Get rid of the annoying ads. Thanks! 🌸

- Introduced ads, forced people to view those. If the service "costs too much" don't offer it. Having a way for some people to pay for more stats is fine, bothering free users is not and should be 10x tested before rollout.

- While I disagree with the way the ads were introduced, I understand it was mostly a mistake and that the cost of operating the extension is probably very expensive and becoming unsustainable. I will continue to use the extension as long as what was originally free remains free and the ads are introduced differently. Hopefully people understand where the developer is coming from and continue to support the extension.

- Return YouTube Dislike I loved it and now I don't like it thank you I won't even pay for it dude what's the point of premium 😒

- Turning a simple extension into a money-grab machine with fullscreen advertising of the "premium" analytics and a banner under every single YouTube video you open, is disgusting. This is a literal abuse of the changelog and pure greed.

- wrong dislike, its just an assumption, also added a paywall? really? who you think you are

- Premium features added after obtaining 6 million users. Untrustworthy developer.

- imagine having the audacity to ask for 5$ a month to show dislikes LMAOOO

- Ads everywhere. Dev lying to users in review replies. Avoid like the plague!

- Mining crypto? Youtube was slow several times after premium ad updates and removing it made youtube work again

- was fine until they added a paywall

- giant ad on side of screen

- Why would they add a paywall? 0/10 sellouts

- Paywalling seeing a couple numbers 🌹💔

- either they're stupid or plainly greedy for a 5 min amount of code maybe if you're a pro. we will see a new one fast, and for free, if there isn't already ones out before

- No thank you

- From free to 5 bucks a month!? Seeing how many dislikes a video has is NOT worth five bucks a month. I honestly wouldn't pay 1 buck a month. Was cool... but not necessary though.

- Very prominent placement of ads in YouTube and annoying popups about some premium plan. Even new page was opened straight after extension update in Chrome, which is bothersome and I don't want to see. Useful plan starts at 5 USD/mo - for seeing dislike statistics? Unreasonable. I can get more interesting stuff for this amount.

- premium bro

- All of a sudden its paywalled.

- Trying to take advantage of their users. At the time I downloaded this extension, its full functionality was already available to the user. Now, they're trying to get money by locking up parts of the functionality behind paywalls. How about no?

- Added ‘premium’ ads and enabled them by default. I bet with each update, they’ll probably be enabled again

- I don't want a premium version; don't show me that

- It now integrates weird premium youtube analytic pop ups every once in a while. Not intrusive, but you should know this before you download it.

- If the data that YouTube dislike relies on is still pre 2001, then this app should not need too much to operate, definitely not every user paying 5$... If it is storing dislikes, then why is it so wrong about predictions up until this point?... In both scenarios, I don't see any value in this app anymore, uninstalled.

- Worked ok for a year. Now it's all under a paywall that adds useless features like the country source of dislikes / timelines. Such a shame. I guess they used free users data to tweak their algorithms to offer them as a paid service. Good luck with that. Almost everyone seems to be uninstalling this simple add-on.

- ads everywhere

- Well, it kinda works... but... The simplest, most basic BROWSER ADDON has started milking itself for hard cash... Apparently, in the near future we'll need cracks for a goddamn BROWSER ADDONS ffs... Shame on you devs!

- JUST for stupid patreon ad :)
- Anonymous
- Mid cashgrab, how it is $5/month for an addon?
- Anonymous
- Completely unusable due to the team deciding to spam users with the extra tab opening every single time Chrome is opened. I discourage this plugin. It is not worth.
- Anonymous
- Saw the popup for the premium, I'll be swapping to YouDislike until you decide to stop being a sellout
- Anonymous
- Why did they add a subscription feature? $7.50/month just to see dislikes on a video is just not worth it. Also, theres a big ad on the video pages prompting you to buy premium.

- As everyone lately is stating, this one fell into the subscription model. I switched over to Show Youtube Dislike Counter | YouDisLike as an alternative. The good news is with my browser's sync feature, I remove and replace this extension, it does the same to all my other devices automatically. Sorry, but subscriptions are a flawed concept and will not do anything other than remove people off your platform. People go to extensions like this to move away from subscription parasite models. Just adding ads brings us all back to square one just like how streaming services was an alternate path against cable only for the streaming services to become the channels themselves where every show is again separated into them and once again "back to square one". More power to the people who will continue to support this extension but its decisions no longer serve my best interest. SponsorBlock does its thing and is community driven but NEVER asks for money. The fact that people pay for premium AND THEN still get in-video ads from the channel just shows how thirsty they are.

- Pushing a subscription now with big stupid ad for this subscription on the video pages.
- Anonymous
- Added ads and a subscription. You were supposed to destroy the corporate sellouts, not join them.
- Anonymous
- They added an ad. You can't remove it (it comes back if you disable it)
- Anonymous
- Implemented ads that randomly opens tabs that spams in the browser for money begging. Kind of malicious software use. Going to report this.
- Anonymous
- An ad that returns an old feature of YouTube showing ads and having premium is a bit funny.
- Anonymous
- Looks like they're starting to show ads which is quite annoying.. But the developer responded and said that once you "X" it out you won't see it again, so I respect it. As long as they don't start removing the core feature of the extension and make it "premium".. People need to make money, so if this helps the dev and helps keep the extension free, I'm all for it.. As long as everything else remains the same.

- good extention, but 2 days ago i got an ad for premium. kinda ruined my yt expirence so... 3 stars
- Anonymous
- Get your ad out of my YT page
- Anonymous
- I get you need money to keep running the extension, but you had to know that doing it the way your doing now wasnt gonna work out. I instantly removed the extension when I saw a huge ad next to my videos. Surely you can find a better way.
