uBO Lite (uBOL) est un bloqueur de contenu basé sur le manifeste MV3.
Les règles par défaut correspondent au filtrage par défaut d'uBlock Origin :
- Les listes de filtres natifs d'uBlock Origin
- EasyList
- EasyPrivacy
- La liste anti-serveurs pub et pistage de Peter Lowe
Vous pouvez ajouter plus de règles en consultant la page des paramètres -- Cliquez sur l'icône de l'_Engrenage_ dans le panneau pop-up.
uBOL est entièrement déclarative, c'est-à-dire qu'il n'y a pas besoin d'un processus uBOL permanent pour filtrer, et le filtrage basé sur l'injection CSS/JavaScript se fait en toute fiabilité par le navigateur lui-même. Cela veut dire qu'en soi, uBOL ne consomme pas de ressources processeur/mémoire pendant le blocage de contenu -- l'agent de service d'uBOL n'est sollicité _que_ quand vous interagissez avec le panneau pop-up ou la page des paramètres.

- Thank you for making this extension a thing. One of the best Chrome Extension to ever made. So many annoyance has been blocked by this and it works in so many sites. (I sometimes uttered aloud "Thank god, I have this thing." but rather than "god", its the developer of this extension.)

- If only it had the good ol' "block by url" feature that the OG had, it'd be 5 stars. Now, those 1000s of custom filters I have in my backup from the now broken disabled OG are completely useless. now I have to go back to using Adblock Plus alongside UBOLite that should be renamed to UBO BareMinimum, because ABP can at least block via url. Also "Remove an element" is broken; said element comes back after refresh. All of these problems would be solved if they can just make it the OG "manifest v3".

- This extension is the reason why my computer hasnt had a day of good internet since May. It was suddenly taking this thing 2-3 minutes to load any web page and significantly longer to download ANYTHING & couldnt hold a connection to the wifi for more than a few hours at a time, but the moment i get rid of this dung it immediately goes back to how it used to be 🤭

- Definitely not the best. What are people comparing it to, nothing at all? So no, uBlock Lite is NOT GOAT! It's only 70% effective blocking compared to the original stand-alone uBlock MV2 at 87% in real world tests on Edge or Brave. FYI. I imported my uBlock full version backup file but not all of my customizations transferred. For most people it's probably be adequate. But not for me.I also need to use third party DnS service. Brave has their own hosted full version of uBlock (90% effective adblocking with Adguard and uBlock original) but it's not a common browser like Edge or Chrome. Edge still has the original uBlock. For now, Edge is the better option for Chromium browsers. I am slowly switching away from Chromium browsers because of MV3 limitations imposed by Google. I will use Chrome for sites that don't play nice with Firefox. Brave was highly recommended but it's not without it's annoyances and issues. I have switched to the competition.
