uBO Lite (uBOL) 是一个基于最新浏览器扩展接口（Manifest Version 3）打造的的内容屏蔽工具。
该扩展预设的规则列表对应 uBlock Origin 的预设过滤规则列表：
- uBlock Origin 内置过滤规则列表
- EasyList
- EasyPrivacy
- Peter Lowe 的广告和跟踪服务器列表
访问选项页面，点击弹出面板中的 _齿轮_ 图标，即可启用更多规则集。
uBOL 的过滤规则是完全声明式的，并不需要固定保留一个 uBOL 扩展进程，基于 CSS/JS 注入的内容过滤更是交由浏览器进行调度，比起扩展本身更为可靠。 这也即是说当内容被过滤时 uBOL 自身并不占用额外 CPU 和内存资源，_只有_在您打开弹出面板或是设置页面时才会生成 uBOL 扩展进程。

- Struggles to immediately and completely block YouTube ads at the beginning of the video... the loading and spinning just takes too long that I have to manually refresh which is quite a hastle to do for every video.

- my irritation with Rufus on Amason led me to this extension but I have no idea how to use it to shut down Rufus and can't find any guide. I clicked the icon and see an X and plus sign, clicked on both and nothing happened. I tried some things but got nothing so this is worthless in my opinion.

- Currently works half way with youtube. While the annoying adblocker warning does appear, simply clicking a "recommended video" on the right then immediately clicking back purges the warning and plays the video normally. Can't wait for this to work properly again.

- The real OG because Google/YouTube can go do one. I will not buy any products from them if they shove ads in my face all the time. Just adding to the list of reviews that I love this app and hope to see a fix soon because as of 19/12/2025 the blocker isn't working with the latest YT update.

- Youtube ads are worst than cable TV from 1990 which had better ads for things people actually would have wanted. Now ads are scammy subscription services and bad products nobody wants.

- Excellent blocker. I didn't want to switch from uBlock Origin because I thought this Lite one didn't have some features I wanted, but it turns out you *can* set your own cosmetic filters and trusted sites. Successfully imported them from uBlock Origin with no issues. Also, it works on YouTube again.
