• (2023-05-02) Throwme A Frigginbone: I have been using this for quite a long time and always had good results. Was notified of changes and it continued to work as it had all along (if it aint broke don't fix it). Just did a fresh install of Windows and Chrome and now notice the differences (100 post previously now 50) not that big of a deal, but don't get how that will some how make more revenue. If new features had been added (don't know what you could add) I could see a donation would be commiserate, but for my needs I'll stay on the free version. Maybe my feeds notification don't have as much importance as others, but it does what I need it to do. Too bad I didn't backup my settings to keep the old functionality, but my other desktop is still rocking the old 100 notifications, maybe I can transfer those over to the other one.

I want the browser to provide an easy way to see when there are new articles available, show me the headlines, and allow me to open them. I want the browser to show me when a page has feeds and allow them to be added directly. I want this all in an easily accessible area, not buried behind _any_ sort of menus. I want the Android app to sync with the browser (e.g. when I mark an article as read HERE, it gets updated THERE). I want the Android app to notify me of new posts to my feeds. I don't want anything else. I want a "simple" feed reader that does these things and doesn't try to be more. Feeder is that reader. It doesn't try to do more than just be a feed reader, its browser extension is great, and the Android app works well.

  Recenlty I've noticed an issue with the RSS feed reader extension on Chrome. It use to be all I had to do was hover my mouse over the extension icon and the feeds would appear. This is no longer the case. Working on Version 86.0.4240.75 (Official Build) (64-bit) Windows 10. They will appear but only after a number of minutes and sometimes not at all

  I am new to RSS. I installed the Chrome feed reader extension last night and added three feeds. This morning I closed that tab in Chrome so now it's gone. HOW do I open that feed reader again? I can't find any documentation about this feed reader, all I can find is your Chrome extension description. Which does NOT tell me how to see my feeds or how to adjust my settings. In particular, within the last hour, I've already gotten TWO notifications from the "lifehacker" feed which I added just to see what it was.   Why does your RSS reader want the ability to change any site I am on? Why would you want to? Why would I want that? Example: no matter how I set or narrow the ability of you product, it still says it has "terrifying" access to my e-mail account, my sensitive government site, banking, etc.... I don't want that. I don't even use your product for those sites. I use the RSS reader on one site for a single page! Could I possibly just look at that single feed from that one page without getting other pages and sites "hacked" into? So far the answer is no, because I tried to limit the scope of you product using options and failed. Again, why would you want to change anything on my e-mail account? Creepy!
