Adjust Page Brightness
Control your browser's global screen brightness to use sites that do not support the native dark theme
This extension reduces or increases the screen brightness level for both daytime and nighttime periods based on user-defined values. It helps the websites that do not support the native dark theme. Also, it can increase the brightness of websites that are too dark. It reduces the eyestrain while reading documents online when dark mode is not supported. The extension offers two different values for daytime and nighttime duration to enhance usability.
Features:
1. Control the darkness level of all websites or just a single hostname
2. You can increase or decrease the brightness level of a website
3. Supports keyboard shortcuts for every action.
4. You can disable the extension on a single website or entirely
5. Control the brightness level from 0% (completely dark) to 120% (20% brighter than the original)
6. Supports two different methods to decrease the brightness level.
Notes:
1. By setting the brightness level to 100%, the extension does not affect browser tabs (does not inject any CSS styling)
2. It is recommended to configure the start time for both daytime and nighttime. By default, daytime starts at 08:00, and nighttime starts at 19:00.
3. By adding a website to the exception list, brightness control is turned off for this website. You can use this feature to turn off the extension on websites that support native dark mode.
4. This extension does not reduce the screen brightness when printing a webpage. There is a CSS selector that only affects "screen" type displays.
What is the difference between this extension and other dark mode extensions (e.g. "Dark Reader™" or "Turn Off the Lights™" (I do not own these two extensions))?
These extensions manipulate the styling of all elements by using custom stylesheets. They convert the light theme to dark. This extension only injects a filter to reduce or increase the original brighness. So it does not perform any resource-intensive operations and does not alter the website's styling.

Weirdly doesnt work for me at all
Doesn't dim videos on Chrome. I wish the developer could include the feature to reduce video brightness instead of just dimming the pages.
Seems complicated, tried it two ways and don't think it adjusts the brightness at all just puts a grey shade over it, don't like it, may revisit
it works very nice and correctly, thank you very much.
helps immensely
Very good so far. Congrats!
I found Adjust Page Brightness extremely helpful for my eyes. The interface is simple and easy to use, allowing me to instantly adjust brightness to my comfort level. It significantly reduces eye strain, especially during long screen hours. Overall, it's a lightweight and effective tool for daily use. Highly recommended! 👍
Works good, at least in my opinion. It's not only effective but also simple to use.
awesome, been using it for 5+ years
Its work
Just wow
ui is a bit confusing and goes through a lot of iterations and updates which throws you off but at the end of the day it works and i use it pretty much every day so cant complain
good but don't deserve 5 starts people are over reacting!

Good user control I think this one better, it works well.
Works, but Not... It can make the screen brighter, and some other darker.. nah.. it's not working.. you can't select one site or one widow for it...
Doesn't work for full screen video players.
doesnt work for a LOT of PDFs, and does not adjust brightness of the address bar at all

Doesn't work on some websites, has virus, overall sucks
After Windows 7 stopped getting updates, I had to switch to another OS. Unfortunately, my laptop's brightness was stuck on low, and I couldn't adjust it. Luckily, this extension lets me turn up the brightness in Chrome, which is where I do most of my work. Keep up the good work joue.quroi. This ones a lifesaver :-D
YOU ARE MY HERO!!!
actual lifesaver so usefull for in the night
seems to work and and straight forward interface. 10/10 for app design and development. :-D
Works well! I was looking for an extension that utilized shortcut keys for activate global mode, increase brightness, decrease brightness, etc. Took off a star because I can't figure out how to assign a keyboard shortcut to open the popup (per the directions on developer website). Assigning a shortcut to "activate extension" does not enable the popup. But, I can still assign other chrome keyboard shortcuts to increase / decrease brightness and enable/disable global mode.
DO NOT INSTALL/ADD THIS EXTENSION! things it will do: Lag your chrome, lag your computer, cause popups, break webpages, make certain URL's Unusable. Things this will not do: Make your browsing experience any mroe enjoyable. This is literally just a virus.
this suckd
DO NOT ADD THIS EXTENSION. If you download this extension, you will be bombarded with a bunch of viruses.
Adds a bunch of viruses. This app is the worst
Good for me from Phuket Thailand.;)
Exactly what I was looking for Thank you folks <3
[Windows 10, Vivaldi3.6] Beautiful GUI but the button I needed for selecting only the site that I wanted to darken, "Enable Here" was greyed out and did not work. I could set it up to darken every website, but that's not what I wanted.

Ótima extensão! ajuda muito em controlar o brilho de acordo com o site especifico..
Quando fui desinstalar ele ficou travado nesse brilho laranja.
it seemed to get rid of some saturation in the colors but it works good other wise

Works and does not give a strange yellow color like the default windows dimming

Works really well! Only thing is that when you click 'Disable Everywhere', it still says 'Disable Everywhere' instead of being changed to something like 'Enable Everywhere'. This confused me for the first while because I thought there was no way to reenable it everywhere because there was no indication that the purpose of the button changed.

Did not work when I used it, just annoying, none of the buttons worked.

It’s somewhat helpful, but it seems like it’s in need of a complete rewrite. The buttons break if you press them too much; press the Disable Everywhere button about 4-5 times and then flip between Enable Here and Disable Here a few times and suddenly, no matter which on/off option it’s on, the brightness slider doesn’t work. Fidget around with it a bit more, (closing and opening it and clicking a few buttons) and it "fixes" again. It’s annoying, because it seems like the extention can’t decide whether it’s supposed to be working or not. Suggestions: • Fix the enable/disable problem. • Combine the sliders into one slider, and put the other nighttime, daytime, apply to all or only this domain, and start time functionality in a settings menu. • Modernize the interface.
