- (2023-12-18) Cole Mercer: At first glance, great extension. Good design, well implemented, non intrusive, etc. But the summaries are brutally short and lack detail. If I summarize a 1 hour tutorial, it says something like "they show you how to do X via Y method" and has some other small details. I'd like to see #1 - a full transcript and #2 a thorough, step by step, very very detailed summary for videos that call for it (i.e. how to do X or. Y videos). Or a slider / settings for me to set this stuff. Also, very silly that even after paying full price, I can't use my own openAI key or adjust verbosity - because after all, it will be my cost in the end anwyays. I'm happy to pay the price yearly just for the plugin and UI / UX, but why not let me put the cost upon myself if I want 10x longer summaries or full transcripts?

It summarizes videos perfectly so that I can write an effective email and promote content to my email list. It's just the tool I needed when I needed it. I was able to try it out free and I didn't think it was that expensive personally. I honestly couldn't grasp some of my client's content without it. Thanks!

- (2023-11-16) Jim Bernard: Great app, saves me a ton of time and cuts to the point on longer videos. I copy/paste the summary to Notion if it's something meaningful. Everyone giving this app a bad review because it has a paid version are ignorant cry babies. There are dozens of FREE solutions out there... none of them gives you the convenience like Eightify does. It's literally a one click solution which i really enjoy.
