This mode allows you to create your own Speed Dials (aka bookmarks)When you open your new tab, you will see all your predefined speed dials.
Most-Visited
The Most-Visited category lists the sites that you visit most often. Each
Dial contains a group with the full list of URLs you’ve visited. You can add any Dial from the Most-Visited category to your Speed Dial and access your most popular websites from your new tab page.
Groups
FVD Speed Dial allows grouping sites by different topics. For example, for car-related sites, you can create a group called Cars, for gaming sites - Games, etc.
🔄 Synchronization
You can synchronize your speed dials between different computers and have them open in the new tab. For instance, you can work with those sites from home and work.
Searching
If you have hundreds of sites, it's not so easy to locate the one you need. That's when the feature that allows searching by speed dials comes to enhance your new tab page. All you need to know is at least one of the words. This search is built into the top of the new tab page and accessible in one link.

- (2025-08-23) It's bad, because it doesn't always saves you current setup/saved Dials, so after reinstallation of Operating System, or due to changes in your browser, you can easily lose your data. The User Interface is also confusing, especially EverSync part, saving your presets (wording) is very bad.

- (2025-08-14) It's a great extension for chrome. I've had it for years on my desktop. I just put it on a new laptop and I love that I can sync it to their cloud and keep both computers the same. Another good feature is the ability to put a "sub-tab" within a tab. If you get a ton of websites that are related, you can put a single icon that opens up another list of specific websites however you want to classify them. My wife has her own tab, as do I. I have one that is "Financial" and it leads to a list of any banks I need to go to their websites. You'll never need a crowded bookmark's bar again.

- (2025-08-10) I've been using FVD Speed Dial for years and I have gladly paid for a subscription. The first thing I do when I get a new pc is install FVD and Eversync/Everhelper. Everything in one place and visible to me.

- (2025-07-28) Doesn't work on my Win 10 laptop! When opening browser there's just a blank page - there's nothing to show that Speed Dial Fvd is on my laptop. It's there when I go to "manage extensions. When I hit "Extension Options" 8 virtually empty boxes appear that have no description and seem to serve no purpose, and 9 icons at the top do absolutely nothing! I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail! Edit: Even their support site link doesn't work: "Oops! Page not found" Not impressed!

- (2025-07-24) While it was functionally great for the longest time, this is HORRENDOUS for transferring your tab data to other devices; you have to install an extra tool (Eversync) to access backups, and even then, this is locked down to local backups that are not easily accessible. If you want to accessibly move your data to another device, you are required to send money to a Russian wallet. Absolutely gave unnecessary friction from my transfer to Linux.

- (2025-07-17) Simple and very helpful to create your own custom launching pad with each new browser tab. One idea to achieve 5 stars: make it easy to just use text as easy to read preview. If you have a few google docs you use often, they all look the same and then you need to create a big title page in each and custom preview. It would be great to skip that step.

- (2025-07-10) I used to love this speed dial, but lately not so much. First, some of my dials stopped working. They would redirect to some scammy looking sites. Then today, my 224 dials started disappearing. I tried reinstalling from Eversync, but that didn't work. Luckily I had just done an export so I imported the dials from that and they came back for a couple of hours and disappeared again. I have reimported them 4 times today. I will not do it a fifth. Going to try Yet Another Speed Dial.

- (2025-07-08) My favorite extensions are those which are free at first, but some time later they want to blackmail you, offering to pay to access and export your own stuff. Don`t bite these... it`s a scam to charge you yearly if you want to sync or even backup/restore your dials LOCALLY!

- (2025-07-06) I've been using FVD for almost 10 years, not a single issue with it always ran smoothly .......... until today! Every single page, every single tab just disappeared into some strange internet void, never to be seen again. So, like I've got nothing better to do with my time, I started and completed saving all four pages of dials again ..... Two hours later, they all vanished again, then again for a third time and NOW for a fourth. I am now at an insane level of frustration and wanting to headbutt the computer screen, but I won't because, it will hurt and I need it to look at so I can see what I'm doing and do you know what I am doing? I am removing FVD from my computer and laptop and looking at the alternatives. Normally, I don't kick someone out of the bed for farting because I'd fart back, but I draw the line when someone craps the bed and FVD left one hell of a skid mark!
