Client support for Privacy Pass anonymous authorization protocol.

Image from store Privacy Pass
Description from store The Privacy Pass extension provides users with the ability to create and sign cryptographically blind tokens for websites that support the Privacy Pass protocol. The extension generates passes containing cryptographically "blinded" tokens that are signed by the web server when a challenge page is solved. These tokens are "unblinded" and stored by the extension for future use; they are redeemed automatically when a future challenge page is seen. The "blinding" procedure means that signed and redeemed tokens are cryptographically unlinkable from the server perspective and, as such, are suitable for usage in conjunction with external privacy measures (such as VPNs).

  • (2021-12-01) Pineapple Boi: The Cloudflare captcha seems to work, but the hCaptcha writes N/A in the corresponding counter and that's it.
  • (2021-11-17) JY Liu: The worst extension, not working at all, keep asking me to solve captcha, it make me don't wanna access to those websites anymore!
  • (2021-11-17) Mohammed Meshal: This couldn't have been more useless, cheap cloudflare protection flag me half the time and get stuck on verification and i can't access some sites i used this and it did nothing at all.

  • (2021-11-13) John: Doesn't achieve what it's trying to do... therefore it's broken and should be removed/repaired. There are 2 issues - the site I an trying to reach needs to remove this service because it doesn't work. Cloudflare needs to fix this service because it doesn't work - constant looping through the captcha process.

  • (2021-10-29) Doug Parker: Every Review Is Both Worthless and Valuable Executive summary: Privacy Pass works as expected. Once all reviews are taken in at 35,000 feet, they tell the better, more clear story. Twelve reviewers may have given poor reviews with one star, but when there are forty-five total reviews, three quarters of the reviews are positive. Anyone reading only the negative reviews would think things are broken when those reviews giving one star are just wearing blinders, they're hyper-focused on their little, broken install and haven't taken a 35,000 foot view of everything going on, nor have they read all the other reviews. They're looking for instant fixes—instant fixes that aren't happening for them—and so they're being triggered to leave a knee-jerk, negative review. Personally, thank Hatebook-Facebook for that behavior. Every computer and mobile device is its own, unique environment. If an extension doesn’t work, 98% of the time it's due to that device’s configuration—not something that’s wrong with the extension. We forget that all too easily. Negative reviews can deceive, can distract, can hide what the real problem is. An impatient reviewer is a bad person to write a review, unless they disclose how impatient they are, but if they *DID* disclose their impatience, I probably wouldn't be taking their review as being a credible review *because of their impatience,* since impatience is a poor foundation for just about everything. When I installed Privacy Pass on mine, it initially didn't work, until I figured out why it didn't work, and then it did. I had to 1) read the supporting documents, 2) restart my browser, 3) click the icon a few times, and although I don't really understand its guts or what's happening in its implementation, it started working. It's interesting to note that a lot of bad, poor, negative reviews come from those who don't have the patience to go into detail about what didn't work, and then how eventually they did get it to work. Impatient reviewers rarely take time to investigate and fix what’s amiss. They rarely take time to explain how and what they tried to do to fix it, explain how they fixed it and in doing so may have helped others to get theirs working so they could share their patience and expertise. No, the knee-jerk, negative review usually wins out. How sad. For the negative reviewers out there, go back and read how your review fits into the overall distribution of reviews. I don't expect most people will go back and look at the wake of all reviews left, even though there's data there for each reviewer, once you understand what that actual data is; it's truly a hidden gem. That distribution of reviews—as well as your becoming aware of how your review fits into that distribution—that distribution and awareness combination are and is telling you something. It's telling *everyone* something about you. It's a learning opportunity for you, if you choose to come back, read *my* review, look back at all the other reviews, see the distribution, and understand at a different level what you may have been missing all along by *not* seeing the 35,000 foot view. Pass this on. Warm regards.

  • (2021-10-16) Rogério Pereira: Does not work. After going to a site (on my home network) where I know I always have to enter a capcha, first checking "I am human" and then picking the correct pictures in 2 rounds of squares, the extension shows "0 Passes" meaning it didn't add this site to it's checked items. I don't know what's it doing here, it's totally useless.
  • (2021-10-15) Jason Borean: This BS isn't working... Never needed it before... now i am being blocked from stuff i need to do and it's not working

  • (2021-10-09) Anita Wong: I tried accessing this particular site 5 times before installation, but it hadn't work, until I installed this extension. When I tried it for the sixth time, I was expecting disappointment, but it worked wonder! Hooray~~! Now, gotta get back to work (thought I'd share this little discovery and provide some feedback to those who thought this didn't work). Good day everyone~

  • (2021-09-23) 墨香: 一点儿用都没有,照着说明操作了还是过不了验证。
  • (2021-09-21) xXAlphaXx 101: This works fine its just that you all are using it wrong. you have to click the Extension button at the top corer then click Privacy Pass, THEN you can use it
  • (2021-09-19) Stacy Romanoff: Работает!
  • (2021-09-18) Alkaris: Doesn't do what it says it can do. Absolutely useless!
  • (2021-09-14) Bumble the Beadle: This may be the most useless extension I ever added to Chrome. I only re-added it to write this review and now I am removing it again.
  • (2021-09-13) Andrew bowlgarte: absolutely garbage
  • (2021-09-13) Assuma 04: Alright so it actually works but you need to take the test again. In the second attempt it will ask if "I am a robot" so I clicked it, but then I took me 1-5 clicks (without a test) just to verify that I am a robot. After that you can return back to the website.
  • (2021-09-12) Jaeson Mendoza: Don't bother. It doesn't work. I have 14 cloudflare passes and 5 hcaptcha but I still can't get out of that effing annoying hcaptcha loop. Incompetent developers.
  • (2021-09-11) DaRk AsSaSSin: it doesn't work at all. waste of time
  • (2021-09-07) Lukas Jacomin: Not working
  • (2021-09-07) The Maelfic Trout: Cloudflare works perfectly, love it. Was bombarded with captchas before. Now only one captcha and I don't have to do the next 24 times. Sadly the hCaptcha one doesn't work all the time, and only gives 5 passes at once which gets used up quick.
