- Its becoming resource hungry and slows down your PC. It lacks ability to block ads or annoyances within the context menu. But you can add custom filters in the settings. With the inflated prices of RAM and SSD due to AI we can't afford to keep upgrading to more powerful CPUs and faster RAM and GPU to keep fighting this same battle. In the past I wouldn't use it due to it's poor blocking, it then improved, but now it's not great again. Many ads are not being blocked. It still lacks the manual "picking" of annoyances that disturbs your browsing experience. Additionally, Ghostery has issues on Outlook Live (Hotmail) it doesn't block the annoying spam mail by Microsoft that always shows up as the first email. Adguard used to block this too, currently only uBlock still does. Latest version allows you to add custom scripts (use AI) and block them permanently. Reputable independent analyses have highlighted that the extension no longer effectively blocks ads on YouTube, leading to a considerable number of uninstalls. On the other hand, there are still a few extensions that manage to block YouTube ads, at least for the time being. Adguard, Malwarebytes, and uBlock Origin are some alternatives worth considering. However, Malwarebytes significantly slows down the browsing experiences in my personal experience. If I need robust protection now that uBlock is killed, I'll use the slower Adguard. But for casual to moderate adblocking and removing annoyances, I will use Ghostery. Peace.

- My issue is with your app and this idiotic design fault. How could you skip a basic and yet so important function of a button in your interface, where by clicking it you can manually select an element in a website, preview to be sure that you made a right choice and then block it? Would you rate highly an ad blocker that doesn't have something so basic but at the same time so important as that? Please fix this issue and update your product ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Super good tracker. One of the best on the internet. I have found it dosen't miss a tracker no matter how clever it tries to disguise it's methods. Once Ghostery finds the tracker it totally distrories it from invading your system. With as much really bad stuff on the internet that can wreck your computer it's a great comfortment to know your system has Ghostery on the job.

- This used to by my 100% go to adblocker. Now it seems to bog down the internet and make everything "PRIVACY PANIC" - Unsplash won't load images because "STORAGE TRACKERS" -- I can't upload things to Github without it being "GITHUB INTERACTIONS" Look i'm sure there's plenty of people who aren't power users that will give this 5 stars -- but it doesn't NOT JUST block ads on youtube, but it slows down the WHOLE of the internet. I tried checking what trackers and what not -- turning it off at source (as in just saying "dont track") -- adn it just still tracks everything -- Privacy is fair beans -- but not at the expense of my RAM and internet speed.

- I am using Ghostery for some time and very happy to have it. Recently You tube start to fight back . Nowadays coming up with "video isn't available". Reloading it or pausing the Ghostery solves the problem. I believe I should have right to have no adds in my browsing over the internet. It is annoying .

- I am puzzled? For the first two days not one advert on youtube then on the third day every video started with an advert? However one of the UK national internet newspapers is completely blocked from adverts and my local online towns newspaper is too. Puzzled with the youtube thing though? Maybe youTube have people constantly working on this?

- I would have given you a five star just a week ago. But my understanding was ALL ads would be blocked and as of this week I'm getting ads at the beginning of every video. Yes I can skip in like 15 sec. But it's irritating non the less. It worries me that this is just the beginnig and the next thing YouTube will be able to just put in ads everywhere.

- First day of getting this extension, I'm shocked it's so good! So good i'm actually writing a review for it. The app icon (the ghost) is super cutesy, and this blocks ads for you and you can also get rid of the ads on a website, if Ghostery doesn't see them. Definitely get this, it blocks ads on YouTube and other sites!! Love this:)

- While the extension is wonderful with all the features one could want, sometimes it just stops working abruptly and displays an error message, requiring me to delete and reinstall the extension again. Therefore, if this issue can be fixed, then it will be a full 5 Stars.
