- Every software developer knows KISS principle. I could click and have my stuff tucked away and go about my business, now the interface looks busy, i now have to confirm whether or not this window or another, WHY ON EARTH do developers do this? I am so tired of overcomplicated designs where simple worked! I hate this app now and will be looking for a simple replacement, its a shame extensions dont have a simple rollback feature or i backed up the old build i hate this.

- If it ain't broken, don't fix it. It used to be so simple and worked flawlessly. Now they've updated it so that there's a popup when you click on the OneTab icon and it freezes my entire browser when I attempt to store all tabs in the current window to OneTab. It was so good while it lasted.

- It was such a great app before the last changes. I needed to click just one time to remove all open tabs, I could see all tabs right away and quckly delete some if I want to. Now you need to 'confirm' that you want to close tabs and store them in onetab and then you can barely see the X sign near the links. So, overall it's too many moves for a very simple goal - to close all tabs without losing them.

- THE GOAT of tab management

- If you're going to change a major behavior of you app, why not configure it to conform to the behavior that everyone is used to? I would rather never them have updated the extension, this is a tool not an aesthetic experience

- Thanks to the developers who put their hearts into it

- Love this app but please bring back the one click functionality.

- Great tool but miss the one-click option. Any update on its return?

- I love onetab, but one day I came to my browser and the extension was no longer installed. I did not uninstall it, I did not close chrome, I did not restart my computer. It just disappeared along with all of my saved tabs. It's a great tool, but unreliable if you don't back it up every day.

- Love OneTab and have used it for years. Looking forward to syncing update! thanks for updating it

- JUST LOST ALL OF MY TABS... WHY... WHY CHANGE ANYTHING... UNINSTALLING!!!!

- Not happy! "If it ain't broke don't fix it" comes to mind... Update is not compatible with Marvellous Suspender, rendering OneTab completely useless. Smart people do stupid things sometimes, case and point here. FIX IT! You had a good thing going.

- I closed my browser and when I opened it back up ALLLLL of my tabs were lost!!! The backup/sync option as suggested in your troubleshooting guide is not available to me so I am unable to get my tabs back. How do I get my tabs back? Why were they lost in the first place??? If I can't even close the browser or clear cache/cookies for fear of losing my tabs each time, this app is useless.

- It's great to see you back at work. I've tried some alternative extensions like Supatab, Better One Tab (no longer supports MV3). I used version 1.86 and found it really good, but in the export/import feature, it doesn't preserve tab group names, so I modified your source code to allow exporting/importing both tab group names in the following format: # abc (tab group name) https://www.example.com/one | Example Link Title. The # character is used by the extension to identify the tab group name and add it. (If you need the modified source code, I can push it to GitHub and send it to you. I really hope this feature makes it into the official release.) And it works well for me. (I also made similar modifications in version 2.3). Overall, your OneTab really needs this feature for easy backups. I also tried version 2.3 briefly, and here's a shortcoming: - Allow adding to a named group via the context menu (1.86 had this). - Preserve tab group names when exporting/importing.

- Fortunately, I had a backup of an old version. I removed the current version and installed "OneTab 1.86_0" using the "Load unpacked", and everything seems to be working perfectly now. A major update that completely changes the experience of the extension should not be rolled out in this way, and forced on people who don't want it. At the very least, make the old version available alongside with the new one, and give people the choice to switch back to the old version if they don't like the new update. For example, I use another extension called "The Marvellous Suspender" to suspend inactive tabs. The old version of OneTab worked seamlessly with this extension, but the new version doesn't even detect the suspended tabs, which makes it tedious to add them one by one after unsuspending them all, and it ruins the easy experience I had with the old version of OneTab. While some of the new features that were added in the major update are surely wonderful, their addition shouldn't disrupt the seamless workflow of the old version.

- Set the old version plugin as default and add a button to switch to the new version. You'll lose a lot of people if you keep going like this.

- it's updated and now it's less laggy, thank you!!

- New Update completed borked the experience. thankfully javascript is editable but holy was that a lot of effort just to add one click back....

- BRING BACK ORIGINAL, not just make it look like the ORIGINAL. Listen to the real users, not the BOTs posting positive comments. Extension has become absurdly complex. I should've packed the original extension — lesson learned. I FINALLY was able to find a way to back up TAB links. Now I've uninstalled the extension and posted in Telegram and Discord to avoid this extension. I'll check back in 6 months to see if the Developer has redesigned the extension back to it's original like the majority have requested. To repeat.

- This used to be my favorite extension - BY FAR! And now they've ruined it completely. It's utterly useless. It doesn't work at all (meaning that it is unresponsive when engaged to perform a task. Also, that task - what used to be features - no longer even exist. Now it's just a completely broken glass jigsaw puzzle that they took apart and couldn't figure out what to with it, so now it's just been cobbled together like some Frankenstein's Monster of hideous malpractice and blind foraging through a wilderness of unimaginative nothingness in search of an idea that exists but it far beyond the grasp of their clutches. This is 100% a FAILURE in imagination, discipline, execution, management, product design best practices, commmunity building, and brand empowerment. This MF had THE most awesome potential and it was utterly fcuked by the most hideous mismanagement, vision, and lack of clairity I've seen in awhile. FFS. WHAT A TOTAL F'KING WASTE. To anyone considering building a version of WHAT THIS COULD HAVE BEEN, contact me and I'll help guide you through it FREE OF CHARGE. Because there's a real business vacuum that they willfully created when they vacated this space as a viable business solution. If you want that space, it's 100% available for the taking. Seriously: What are you waiting for?

- I like the major update, but it couldn't retain group names and folders when I imported hundreds of links after reinstalling the extension.
- Anonymous
- Okay, yes, that 1-click functionality MUST come back. Otherwise, it has just become useless, unfortunately.

- I had about 70 tabs stored, I tried to move one into another group, some glitch happened and lost me all the tabs! One star is being generous!

- Still waiting for the one-click functionality to come back... the wait feels endless. It used to be a perfect 5-star experience, but losing one-click is such a huge hit to the usability.

- Lost a lot of the convenience of this extension to feature bloat unfortunately...

- The latest updated version is just GREAT! This is the BEST extension and I tried MANY. Thanks! One feature should definitely be implemented though: Preserving the names of groups and folders when exporting/importing.

- This is the best tab extension I've used, and it's not even close. Everything is very straight forward with a user friendly interface. The organization is perfect with nested files and groups. Quick and easy to grab all of the tabs and clean of your window and just as easy to chose how you want to bring them back up. There are so many options on how you want everything done. They thought of everything for this app; I couldn't be happier!

- Re Add the one click functionality! It has disrupted my workflow also, add a shortcut for this as well!

- Works well but has never been updated. No clear update process.

- 100/10 Easily saves all tabs in a window with one click and can restore them as easily. Even saves incognito tabs on pc crash!

- Hi guys, this app was amazing until the recent update. I know you guys are working hard on this extension, and I'm really grateful for it. But please bring back one-click action, it was what made this app perfect. Or at least give us the option to also have back the old functionality. The new pop-up is irrelevant to me personally since I only want to quickly hide all tabs and that's it, no need to see that pop-up. Thanks again, waiting for the update so I can update the stars!

- Please add a feature to switch between the new and old user interfaces.

- The new revised Feature Rich App, is even better than before, what a fantastic now feature rich but simple App, I can't praise it enough, it does everything as before but now with lots more useful options, and the Team are so responsive to any questions and issues... I already reviewed the original App in 2020. Love the app, I use it every day. An easier backup and restore would be good, instead of having to copy and paste all the data... Otherwise, great app...

- The new version is disappointing, it’s no longer "One Tab." Plus, the import feature only imports the links without text

- This new version 2.3 is cumbersome and useless.

- I hate that new version.. I made the mistake to install it, and now I can't get back to the usual one I use normally. Please, restore the old version. It was much better.. You just complicate things for nothing, and the new version is not only overcomplicated but also full of problems

- I had more than 10 000 links stored in my OneTab local page and now after the new update, they are all gone! LOL Where are they?! Nice way to ruin once useful extension!
- Anonymous
- You've ruined the app by removing the one-click feature... I voted 5* in 2016, but now it only deserves 3*...

- No longer a one click solution, has a stupid popup.

- I am very new to the OneTab. This extension is really useful and outperforms many competitors. My one serious criticism is that when I click “Store to OneTab,” it always creates a new group of tabs instead of adding them to an existing group. That behavior feels annoying and unintuitive.

- The new update ruined the whole concept!
