MonsterS51 2026-01-27: I can confirm that in the case of "This content isn't available, try again later.", disabling the "Completely stop videos instead of only preventing autoplay" option solves the problem. In a similar extension, the autoplay prevention feature also causes this issue. Apparently the YouTube team broke something again so that people could watch videos without stopping. Upd: It's funny, but I still have this problem when I go directly to a video, for example, from the "Subscriptions" section, even with all extensions disabled. Opening it in a new tab works fine. YouTube experience is truly broken :)
Harold Norris 2026-01-27: I love the functionality, it'll be tough to live without it now, but it makes my mouse (usb) so jerky that it's almost unusable. I turned off every extension one-by-one to find the culprit, and it's definitely Enhancer that causes the problem.
BC-Guy 2026-01-26: I've been using this incredible, fantastic, wonderful app for several years now! And Yes - I have sent a small donation of gratitude. It does take a bit of learning and I am frustrated by the new features of Win 11 and the newest variants of YouTube that are currently a problem - but I know with some tweaking from this app - I'll get it as good as it can be! (Going to try the steps suggested to block the 'Experiments'.) A great app - thank you!
김건수 2026-01-26: If you take a screenshot by pressing the camera icon in full screen, the screenshot will be saved in a smaller size than the actual size.
Jacky Folf 2026-01-26: i used this extension for the controls and because it allowed me to use the older youtube ui that was better visually and more usable. new update of the extension removed that and i cannot find an option to enable the old ui without the round islands for buttons
Josh 2026-01-26: Great extension, except half the time my youtube videos load with normal settings as if the extension is turned off. Not sure why. If someone can show me what I'm doing wrong I'd appreciate it. Maybe it's only not working on the videos with the new youtube layout?
Klein Visuals 2026-01-26: I personally love this app, because it helps me customize my YouTube. There may be occasional drawbacks from Google that interfere with the app, but with patience, you will get all of your functionality and return in full function.

James Bull 2026-01-25: great extension except today when I went on to YouTube its got the transparent and circular controls for the newest YouTube ui. Until then I could have the old YouTube ui from 2024 which had non of the transparency and circular ui that I despise. Please find a way to return the old YouTube ui . Thanks

Oliver McMinn 2026-01-25: Love the app, one of my most favorite chrome extentions, stopped me from watching youtube shorts instantly, and there are so many other settings to customise, it's amazing! However there is just one bug that I have found, for some reason I cannot change the playback speed when I open videos, I have to refresh the youtube tab in order to be able to change the playback speed, however except that one bug, enchncer for youtube is a must have extention that I use daily.

Mita K 2026-01-25: Hi mrfdev !!! I am your one of the oldest consumer ever-since you have launched your youtube enhancer extension with an "adblock" option to it. Among all other modes I love the cinema mode, but in recent updates somehow its not working that well. After you turned it on the entire screen goes blurry with dark shades despite making changes in settings. Can you please fix the bug in your next update? Thanks !!!!
drgonzo3300 2026-01-25: Latest update breaks video playback, Causing all videos to play at 720p with that being the best option outside of Enhanced Bitrate 1080p. Disabling the addon gave me my regular 1080p -> 4K options back. Took me two days to figure out why videos looked so bad.
Jack 2026-01-24: Good extension, but ever since the new update the new terrible youtube ui comes back on incognito, and i have to go and change it every time when i want to watch a video but dont want it on my history. Is there any way you can make it so i have the old ui enabled by default on incognito like it used to be?
Swift Kordyne 2026-01-24: Latest update (as of 1/24/26) made it so blocking the new YouTube UI is not the default. Although you can still block the new UI using this extension, it requires much more setup than before. As going back to the old UI is the only worthwhile feature of this extension, this reduction in user-friendliness seriously impacts the use of this extension.

j k 2026-01-24: New update constantly shows "This content isn't available, try again later." and I have to keep refreshing the video until it shows up. Let me make this perfectly clear: QUIT BLAMING EVERYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN YOUR ADDON FOR ALL OF THE ISSUES PEOPLE ARE HAVING WITH THIS NEW UPDATE. People had the same versions of Chrome, the same addons, the same pop up blockers and so on. The only thing that stopped working was YOUR addon. TAKE OWNERSHIP OR TAKE THIS DOWN.

Sabi 2026-01-24: An update was just forced installed midst watching videos today and the new visuals and interface is horrible. Tried reverting it in the themes and apperance, and despite the "preview" showing it to be the standard old interface, neither setting removes it.

ADHZ RIDE 2026-01-24: The new "Modern Player" interface is terrible, it lags a lot, clicking the numbers of time, change it to time remains and back, and cannot be off. that's a safe zone to click in the player, now is just big buttoms all over. Also is experimental but is kind of hide for many people to dissable or block. Sorry, I like the extension, but I don't like forced changes like that.

Ryan S 2026-01-23: Possible breaking change with the new v3.0.15 update. I wanted to disable the new experimental controls, so I followed the instructions using this link: chrome-extension://ponfpcnoihfmfllpaingbgckeeldkhle/html/whats-new.html I found the experimental controls option (the flask), unchecked the box to the left of it, and reloaded the page. Despite this, the experimental YouTube player persisted. Not sure if it's my device, but still a pretty big issue for an update introducing it.

CRW LH 2026-01-20: The introduced pop up player button is annoying. This should be another enable/disable button, similar to the speed buttons. Having a clean interface of only wanted controls is important. This button is completely unnecessary as a permanent control and gets in the way.
Conor Whitehead 2026-01-20: Worked great until today's update that now forces YouTube's new terrible video player UI. Nothing I can find in the settings allows people to change the video player UI. Please add a way to change it. Edit 1: Since I can't directly reply, the link below doesn't open for me - says that "This page has been blocked by Chrome - ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT" Edit 2: Thanks to the dev for the quick reply. Was able to open the link and made the necessary changes. Fixed the issue! Will change the rating - for future readers, please disregard the text.
Zyppeler 2026-01-20: Great extension, but for whatever reason, with today’s update they decided to change the order of icons in the video player. Full screen isn’t on the right edge anymore; picture-in-picture is there now and full screen was moved one spot to the left. This may seem like a small change, but every video player online (at least every one I know of) has full screen in the position where picture-in-picture is now. Sadly, I didn’t even see a disable or remove option for this. No idea what led to this terrible decision, but as it is now, it’s more of a pain to use than the benefits it provides. Edit: Well, with uBlock I just blocked picture-in-picture and now fullscreen is where it should be. It would be nice if the devs could at least consider giving us the option to decide for ourselves whether we want to replace the position of fullscreen or not. Answer to MRFDEV: This page says nothing about the reordering of the icons, picture-in-picture or why it is where it is now. And to be blunt: it doesn’t change anything who or what is at fault here, because the fact remains that full screen swapped places with picture-in-picture and that is insanely anti-intuitive. I could fix it thanks to uBlock, but if I couldn’t, this would be a total deal breaker for me and as I can see in other new reviews, for other people too. You can blame and shame anyone who talks about it, saying they can’t read or whatever, but at the end of the day, people are dissatisfied with this single change and I couldn’t care less who is at fault here, I want it fixed or at least the option to decide for myself.

N. V. 2026-01-20: It's almost good. ONLY ONE THING - THE APP ALLOW TO PLAY ON YOUTUBE ONLY ON ONE TAB. When you will play for example music in one tab, in the second tab Youtube video stops immediately. Tested on PC, Chrome.

John M. 2026-01-18: What I want to know is how this thing installed itself without my consent or even notification. When I ran YouTube this app fired up and posed as an official YouTube upgrade. I went through the extension's lawyer-written butt covering, where near the end it informed me my data was secure, EXCEPT for some situation I am unaware of. How many red flags could this so-called developer. Now I'm reading reviews by ppl more technical than me about data security red flags in other aspects of this . . . not an app. . . not an extension . . . it's malware! And the developer either is or is in cahoots with Google in order to self-install . The more power the tech bros get, the greater their role in the surveillance state taking shape around us.
