- Option to convert shorts back to normal videos has legitimately saved me from doomscrolling so many times since activating it. Prior to discovering this option, I would quite regularly find myself, while sitting at my desk, spending entire hours looking just through YouTube shorts. Now, however, it almost never happens. Thank you developer(s) for improving my mental health and attention span.

- Great extension – super useful features, clean interface, and it really improves the overall YouTube experience. SMALL ISSUE THOUGH: recently thumbnails started auto-playing loudly when I just hover over them for a moment, even without clicking the video. It would be great to have better control over that. Overall still 5/5 – highly recommended.

- 'Hide Chat' on livestreams doesn't resize the video to fullscreen like before. Hopefully that gets fixed. However youtube is useless without this extension.

- Is there something wrong with my vision or does it say it can go up to 16x speed. Because that is INSANE. I just got this extension like 5 minutes ago, but I can only seem to make it go to 5x speed. BUT IT WORKS ON ADS!!!! I CAN SPEED UP MY ADS!?!?!

- The "controls" icon isn't working properly. And where is the PIP mode icon? It's in the shortcut settings, but the icon isn't there, which is inconvenient.

- Decent extension used it for years. Never had an issue with it until recently. Picture in Player seems to be over riding the vivaldi Picture in Picture Player. tested in in google chrome, opera and the issue seems to persist across all browsers. Older versions (2.0.117.9) did not have this issue, maybe its a youtube UI issue that is causing this. Would be nice to have an option to completely disable Enhancer's version of PiP because when tested as previously stated on an older version i have access to both PiP (browser and Extension) like i said, it could be new youtube BS they added it that caused this issue but overall would just be nice to have an option to disable enhancer's PiP since I feel like the browser's defaults they have are already better and would honestly probably be the quickest fix to address the issue of it overriding the browsers.

- This extension is very good. There is some issue that YT doesn't play video on certain channels when this extension is on. This seems to be on monetized channels, ok no monetized channels for me anymore. I can live with that. Unfortunately a number of channels I really like to follow don't work when enhancer is on. So for the time being I switched it off. I hope the issue can be resolved.

- Hi mrfdev !!! Could you please fix the cinema mode? Because, after you turned it on the entire screen goes dark despite changing the intensity of darkness from the settings. So please fix the bug in your next update. Thanks a lot !!!!

- Awesome program. I use it in every browser. It makes my Youtube viewing experience that much more customizable. My only suggestion would be to add more audio options, like for instance adding the ability to press "Mono" through the extension. It would help with some Youtube videos that only play through one side.

- Just wanted to provide an updated review following my previous one. It appears this extension is not the cause of the video playback issues I experienced. In my case, the problem seems to be related to the Pie ad blocker. I wanted to clarify this for anyone who may be attributing similar issues to this extension.

- Brilliant extension! Just wanted to mention that it stopped working properly on February 20th, 2026. Videos won’t play correctly and I have to refresh several times. Could you please fix this?

- Like someone else mentioned below, every since the last update, its taking seconds to a minute or more before videos start playing. Everything is still exactly the same on my end. Love this extension but this new issue is really getting annoying.

- When clicking outside the video player, Enhancer’s control UI is always briefly unmounted and re-mounted (about 1 second flicker). This also happens after multiple clicks on the controls themselves. It seems that Enhancer rebuilds its UI on YouTube’s focus or click-driven player re-renders. Would it be possible to keep the UI persistent across player re-renders, or avoid unmounting on page clicks?

- Really helpful, except for the fact that it was responsible for hiding the Vivaldi browser's Picture in Picture (PiP) feature. This is the only extension I disabled so I know this is the main culprit. I preferred Vivaldi's solution for the pop-up player so it was annoying that it was just... gone.

- first it was awesome , then it started causing many bugs and problems , even on my laptop. such as Flickering, Glitching, Visual artifacts, Screen tearing, Stuttering....

- Loving the app, has it installed on my 3 computers, where I run Old versions of Chrome for lots of reasons, and everything has worked, untill one of the computers crashed, and I had to install windows with an old Chrome again, and now I suddently can't install your plugin anymore (This item is not compatible with your current Chrome version) But everything works to my liking, and the app still works great on my other computers... so my question is, is there a way to sideload an older version of the app somehow? The version of Enhancer running on my other computers is version 2.0.126.1. I hope there's a solution for us who don't upgrade everything every 5 minutes =0)

- This is a very good tool for youtube but the only issue i have is it stops the opera gx video popout feature so i did stop using it. If anyone uses a browser other than opera gx i would recommend but for opera specifically its quite annoying

- For some reason, the old interface stopped working. Previously, with this extension, the interface was old, but if you turned it off, it switched to the new one. Now it doesn't work. Is that how it's supposed to be? :(

- its nice and all but why is the controls visible when i go on full screen, i hate the space at the bottom of my screen, i want to watch the video on full screen, i just use the tools when im not on full screen i don't want to see it when i'm watching the video

- This is a pretty great extension that helped a lot as an all in one. A request. Youtube has a transcript button that's hidden in the description of the video. It would be really helpful if this button was added to the Enhancer toolbar so it is more accessible.

- I got tired with the BS YouTube is doing. After forcing the new site Layout and the entire FEED UI made me frustrated, as it was showing multiple videos only, instead of 1 in a row. This amazing extension fixed it and my eyes can finally focus on certain video from FEED instead of multiples that made me confused to simply "overlook". I recommend it, thanks for your work with this extension!

- how to make the related videos smaller again? youtube updated their UI and the thumbnail is too large. home tab works properly tho
