• (2024-09-17) Saidu K: Changing my 5 star review from 7 years ago. It's turning into one of those AI cash grabs. It still works, but the most recent style changes have made the extension uglier, when the whole point of me using it is to make Wikipedia look better. The table of contents used to be in a column with a different style to the rest of the content, but now it's blended in with the rest and looks worse in my opinion. Boxes now have rounded corners because developers everywhere have decided rounded rectangles and circles look best. Fonts, themes and other style choices have been locked away until you pay for them along with AI features for $9 a month. It's a shame, to be honest. I've deleted this extension and found an alternative
• (2024-09-10) Orfeas Theofanis: New review: It used to be a great extension. Now it's bloated and keeps throwing pop-ups to login or create accounts. Uninstalling. Old review: Wikiwand is a great interface for browsing wikipedia. The ctrl+click dictionary feature seems interesting, but the shortcut should change or at least be configurable. The default behavior for ctrl+click is to open a link in a new tab, and this extension hijacks the shortcut and disables "open link in new tab" feature.

• (2024-08-02) Jon S: They've once again completely changed the design just as I got used to the new version, and my old settings are locked behind a paywall. The AI features are a bad move. We don't need AI on every single website we visit when it's wrong a significant portion of the time. I see no reason to continue using this extension, so I'll be removing it.

Тут спрашивать надо с Роскомнадзора, а не занижать оценки. Отсутствие прямой ссылки на "заблокированный ресурс" не гарантирует его доступность(вспомните опыт блокировок твиттера, когда не работал еще с десяток других сайтов)

• (2023-09-06) Travis Wohlrab: Used this extension for many years and appreciate the devs' work but the most recent update has pushed way too much clutter to the top of the page. Using a 1440p screen I have to scroll just to see the intro paragraph. The article image is massive. I also don't see a way to enable the previous interface which was much preferred. Going back to wikipedia=old for now.
• (2023-09-06) Steve C: I should have rated this extension YEARS ago. Only here now because for some reason it stopped working completely. Wikipedia no longer reverts to Wikiwand. Hope that gets fixed soon! Dark Mode (why is the default always white with most webpages) is essential to my eyes! :)

When I tried to either open it or follow a link to it, I got this: ("Message":"An error occurred and the request could not be processed.","Type":"Service") So, for the first time I had to remove it from Chrome, clear the cache, cookies and browser history, reboot and then reinstall Wikiwand from the Chrome Web Store. The inability for the extension to fall back to regular wikipedia when their own website goes down is also infuriating. My only option is to just uninstall the extension.

Modern Wikipedia consigue lo mismo, posiblemente lo hace incluso mejor (modernizar wikipedia y añadir funciones nuevas) y sin sacarte de la pagina de la wikipedia, cosa que me parece estupido y de intenciones dudosas de esta extension.

This has significantly levitated my Wikipedia experience, from a great dark mode, to its brillent customisability and clean UI that keeps the content front and center. The UI refresh just makes the best even better, and I'd even say I enjoy reading Wikipedia much more and even as entertainment with the addition of this amazing extension.
