It's not adding any additional value, it's actually taking away from the experience with the cluttered UI. The actual words I would like to take into account in my job searching strategy are never highlighted; that's what you get for throwing around buzz words like AI. Additionally it's become an enormous confusing hassle to save a job!!! Before it was just one click and now I'm so confused I don't know what to click anymore, it doesn't automatically save the job but shows me empty fields.

- (2024-02-06) Justin Bucsa: If you use Huntr without using it's Chrome Extension to do a quick transportation of information, than you might as well just stick to excel to manage your opportunities. With that said, I do have a few issues they need to fix to make this a much better user experience (Issues Rating ranges in value, 1.0 - 5.0): 1. (Issue Rating: 4.5) When you use the extension to save a post in your Huntr account, the Huntr algo. still cannot pick up Recruiter information quickly or at all. 2. (Issue Rating: 4.5) Recruiter contact are not created after using the extension to bring a post in from an external website. Users still need to manual input this information. 3. (Issue Rating: 5.5: Critical) The default setting for this extension is set to read every single page a user visits via their browser, regardless if it is related to a job posting or not. User need to manually change the setting so that the extension look has access to your browser page when the user request the extension. This needs to change because that means unknowingly, the users are granting Huntr complete access to their browser history and view in real time. In summary, the basic functionality of the extension does work. So all the hard work is done. Now they just need to fix the final bugs or add a few more tools. Since the connection from the 3rd party pages to Huntr is connected with this extension, I fully believe that Huntr can solve the last 3 critical issues in a timely fashion.

Having to use Chrome to be able to use the Huntr extension is also an issue, I wish that they made an Addon for Mozilla Firefox as well, as I much prefer to use that browser.

- (2023-09-11) Floyd Francis: It needs some serious tooling. The ability to filter and find jobs by company would be exceptionally helpful. The ability to edit information that's entered, and a simple rejected button for jobs that have been rejected would be helpful. Trying to find a specific product design role when you've applied to 50 of them, is a pain in the butt. Functionally, to store what you've applied to works great.

The extension makes it even easier to use, as you are taken to the page with a single click or can view a whole range of information at a glance. I want to believe that the limitations raised by others before me have already been lifted. I'd like to talk about the free plan, which is said to be capped at 40 jobs. I'm not far from that limit any more.

Everything just feels right, and it's close to perfect. With this tool, you can effortlessly keep tabs on your upcoming interviews and manage all your job applications, making the job search process significantly smoother. However, there is a drawback – the free plan has a cap of 40 jobs, which I reached in just a few days. Currently, I can't afford to upgrade because I'm in between jobs. But trust me, even though job hunting can be done without it, it's a whole lot tougher and more time-consuming without this tool in your arsenal.
