Audio Downloader Prime is an extension that helps you quickly download popular audio formats right from your browser's toolbar popup.
Note: Audio Downloader Prime is NOT working for the YouTube website or any other YouTube videos embedded in other websites due to Google, YouTube, and Chrome Store policies and restrictions.
Note: Audio Downloader Prime is NOT responsible for media content that you download with this addon. We strongly recommend that you verify the related media copyright permissions on each website before downloading any audio file(s).
Key features:
1. Toolbar popup, provides an easy interface to download the audio(s) or copy the audio links to the clipboard.
2. Badge icon text shows the number of captured audio within the page.
3. You can add, delete, or disable audio formats from the Options page.
4. There is also an option to specify the minimum size for audio to trigger the download.

Only tried it on a couple of sites so far, and it's worked perfectly! Also where other audio download extensions haven't. Including Libby. (MacOS Big Sur)
It's great but not perfect. Really good foundational functionality. I couldn't get the auto download over a certain file size to work, but it is exceptional that this functionality is available for free. I think with some minor improvement it would warrant donations. I think those improvements would be: - auto download functionality in chrome windows 11 would need to work - before downloading, able to change label and or numbering scheme for files to be downloaded
Works for me on Libby. In the Libby web player I just start the book playing, then click the "next chapter" right arrow button repeatedly to jump through the whole book. Then I look at this extension and it lists all the audio files. I click the download button on each one, and the audio book is then sitting in my Downloads folder as mp3 files. Not much worse than previously with the Overdrive desktop app. I just need to rename the files, find cover art, etc.
Doesn't work at all with Libby.
Can you fix Audio Downloader Prime, Video Downloader Prime, and Video & Audio Downloader back to normal please?

While it might work on youtube, it still works on various other websites. Super underrated in my personal opinion. Very good website, just wished it did work on youtube, still amazing.

This works really well for capturing streams that are dynamically generated. Sometimes the streams on the radio site I use have to be restarted before I can see them. A download all button would be helpful. I open lots of streams in multiple tabs and they are all added, but then I need to click them individually to download. Only a very small thing. Defnitely try it in Chrome. It seems to work exactly the same in Firefox, I've used it there too.

It was useful with the old Scribd but now that most audiobooks were transferred to Everand, the extension doesn;t work anymore. Perhaps an upgrade is appropriate at the moment. Thanks.

Worked first time I tried it! TIP: If it doesnt appear on toolbar, open extenstions, go to search for Audio Downlloader Prime, select 'pin to tool bar; by moving the slide bar to the right. It will pop up on the top right corner of the tool bar. Refresh the page you want to copy from, playback the file and the app will pop to life.
