Video Downloader Prime is an extension that helps you quickly download popular video formats right from your browser's toolbar popup.
Note: Video Downloader Prime is NOT working for the YouTube website or any other YouTube videos embedded in other websites due to Google, YouTube, and Chrome Store policies and restrictions.
Note: Video Downloader Prime is NOT responsible for media content that you download with this addon. We strongly recommend that you verify the related media copyright permissions on each website before downloading any video file(s).
Key features:
1. Toolbar popup, provides an easy interface to download the video(s) or copy the video links to the clipboard.
2. Badge icon text shows the number of captured videos within the page.
3. You can add, delete, or disable video formats from the Options page.
4. There is also a setting to specify the minimum size for videos to trigger the download (see Options page).
5. Popup interface supports dark theme. To switch theme, please press the - moon - icon at the bottom toolbar.

Does not download .mp4 format. This downloads videos using .m3u8 format, which may or may not work on your video media player. Good luck in converting the file to mp4.

Was hoping because of the name it would work with amazon videos but alas all downloaded videos are black. Deleting extension now.

Solo descarga videos de 1mb, no funciona
This App doesn't work, I used it before about 7 months ago and it was working and now it doesn't pick up the videos and after trying one video the thumbnail fades to barely showing. Worse App!

Finds videos but it seems to break them up into smaller file sizes. It has never allowed you to DL the full vid. Not going to DL 10 smaller clips that make up the full vid.

This video downloader works really good! I's probably the best one I've used so far. It opens up in a little popup, it detects video most often, and it downloads pretty fast.

Pretty cool extension! Imagine of you put a movie in a movie werbsite and the extension detects the movie for you to download. You can download and watch the movie! Cool huh? Even you can download videos from other sites.

I am using this to download university lectures from kaltura. This is what Brightspace and D2L use. It works seamlessly if you download the file with a '?' file size. The lecture files are tiny, less than 200kb, but are over an hour long and play perfectly. It is important to note you need to use VLC to view the files, Windows Media Player and Windows 10 built in tv & movies player will say its a corrupted file.
