• (2021-04-29) Rich Tatum: 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗: I’ve tried a dozen extension switchers and was also trying to find a way to manage "groups" of extensions in an easy and efficient way. I’ve been using Switcher for years, but only recently noticed that I actually could create “groups,” and that extensions could belong to more than one group. Though it’s not clear whether I can change the order of the groups I’ve created, this made the extension 10× more valuable to me, and also makes it far-far superior to all the other switchers/managers I’ve tried. For complaints about the UI — it may look a little old or outdated, but its minimalism and straightforwardness is actually refreshing. Having tried many of the other card-based GUIs, Switcher’s simple checkbox-and-list approach puts the most information on the screen possible, and makes it much easier to manage extensions — especially if you have dozens installed at any given time. ❤ I’m back to loving Switcher and uninstalled all my other extension managers.

All I wanted to request is if you could possibly add the feature for the user to select from their own or at least a few options for the extension icon that appears on the extensions area when using the browser. I would prefer if there were some kind of password/PIN that prevents people from just disabling extensions, then that would be great. This is especially true when I want to disable an extension that's supposed to help me be productive or manage my time better.

(sorry for the caps but it is impossible to find this extension with all the trash extension managers out there named similar names. Search for Extension Switcher makes it a bit easier. One of my fav extensions of all time and cannot live without at this point.
• (2019-06-21) Sonoma Mann: Love this little thing!! Elegant, powerful, indispensable if you like to use extensions. One click lists extensions, apps, themes, everything. One click to enable/disable extensions, uninstall them, set their settings, read their documentation, shop for more, remind yourself what's all up in there.. Chrome's regular extension handling is just impossibly, comically clumsy (menu > more tools > extensions? Really? Every single time?) and this amazing utility is convenient, intuitive, and well designed.

It's simple to use, provides easy access (even when compared to Google's convoluted & hard to find extension page) to your installed extensions so you can enable, disable, or remove them as needed. • (2019-03-09) I have over 300 extensions installed and tested almost ALL plugins for control. NONE is more perfect, practical, functional and complete than this. More than enabling or disabling it allows access to the options, filter BY DESCRIPTION (this for me was the icing on the cake and won me once), doesn't lose the typed filter when you open the window again, lets you directly access Chrome Store and so so much more!!! All in a single window! Would be amazing have the option to create profiles to be able to enable and disable by profile, but nevertheless not the best. More than 5 stars!
