Send your downloading job requests to the well-known Free Download Manager (FDM) to take advantage of the following features:
1. BitTorrent support
2. Enhanced audio/video files support
3. Download acceleration
4. Resuming broken downloads
5. Smart file management and powerful scheduler
6. Adjusting traffic usage
7. Remote Control
8. HTML Spider
This extension offers two levels of integration. The simple one is the right-click context menu items for video, audio, and image file types. The second level is an observer for downloading requests that are sent to the built-in download manager. The extension pauses each download when a new request is submitted. Then sends the actual downloadable URL to your Free Download Manager. This mode is more aggressive and can simply toggle on and off from the browser action.
Notes:
1. For the extension to work you need to have Free Download Manager (FDM) installed; http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/
2. For the extension to be able to communicate with FDM, a small native client is required. This native client can be found at https://github.com/belaviyo/native-client/releases. You will get the instruction on how to install this native client when the extension tries to communicate for the first time.
3. This extension can extract links from selected text. Use the right-click context menu over selected text to access this tool.

- (2024-05-09) Max Morais: A extensão original sempre pára de funcionar de repente no chrome. Tenho que reinstalar a extensão, que volta a funcionar, mas o problema sempre volta. Essa alternativa funciona bem melhor. Para o correto funcionamento, não se esqueça de baixar e instalar também o add-on no gifthub. O único contra é que muitas vezes ao invés de apenas abrir a janela de download, ele abre também a janela do programa (que tenho sempre que fechar). Ainda sim, isso é menos pior do que a extensão parar de funcionar. ATUALIZAÇÃO: Está funcionando pelo menu de contexto mas parou de funcionar diretamente por qualquer link de download, que é o esperado. Uma pena...

- (2023-02-12) Pagoeja: its surprisingly good even though it looks like a complete scam. after it sent me to a sketchy link i was going to delete it but then when i clicked the three dots to delete it i saw the other actions i could do. One of them was "download all links" which basically searches for all links on the current tab ur on. select the download link and BOOM! it transfers to free download manager! Also all of you writing reviews are total bots, I mean how am I gonna believe youre a real person when you say "best" like c'mon man. Anyway instal free download manager, from 288 KB/s to a WHOPPING 4.1 MB/s holy!
