What sets this apart is that the process of download an internet pdf is automated - its downloaded then reuploaded to the pdfzorro site. Does not change default pdf viewer in the browser to something more useful. Data will be uploaded to their site. So privacy concerns as always Editor itself isn't that great for me - you can go on their website to try it out before downloading this extension

• (2021-06-29) Ethan Fox: The extension didn't work at all (eternally loading) so I went to their website, https://www.pdfzorro.com. This drastically reduces the quality of the PDF, and it's incompatible with a drawing tablet.

I have some pdf documents that had been locked so that I could not edit or change them in anything - Chrome, Adobe etc. I tried many different online services and also other extensions, and the only one that worked is PDFzorro. There is a few little nuances but once you figure it out, the service works great. Just remember, once you save and download your work, it is permanent - you can only edit/change in one session. You can do multiple edits and changes, but once you download the finished document it is finished. For additional editing and changes you can add next to the previous edits or wipe previous and start again. Recommended highly.

  So I installed the extension and opened a local PDF file in Chrome, clicked on your reddish mystery icon to edit the PDF, and got this error: ✗ Allow URL first! Please open in Chrome menu: More tools -> Extensions: ✓ Allow access to file URL for PDFzorro. Otherwise PDFzorro do not work with local PDF-files. ========================================= Okay, so I follow the instructions to change the settings as described, but I still get the error. Even tried closing and reloading the PDF file. Still does not work. I haven't tried yet closing and reopening Chrome, and I haven't yet tried rebooting my desktop computer (Lenovo ThinkCentre running Windows 10) but SURELY if those things were necessary to make your app ACTUALLY work, you would have said so, right?
