Pullquote activates online reading.
Share or save quotes easily!
[October, 2024: We've reworked the extension to meet the latest Chrome Web Store extension requirements. MUSE is new feature we added to add your musings and notes to your feed without linking to external web pages. Link to text fragment has also been added to the backend which allows modern browsers supporting the feature to natively highlight linked text on webpages even if the extension is not installed.]
[December, 2019: We completed an overhaul of the underlying code and servers, and fixed a bunch of bugs along the way. In the future, the new Pro package helps us prioritize maintenance and new development work!]
Pullquote makes it easy to:
TWEET quotes: with a few clicks, tweet out a full quote rather than a paraphrase. (Pro users: schedule and edit tweets, tweet from multiple accounts, or change fonts or styling.)
COLLECT quotes: Pullquote simplifies collecting, annotating and indexing the great quotes you find online—helpful whether you’re researching a book, preparing for class project or stashing quotes on a favorite topic. (Pro users.)
LINK to specific text: Why share a generic link into a long article? Use Pullquote to direct people to a specific quote in its context.
SHARE niche content: Skip the firehose! Pullquote lets your fans and colleagues subscribe to a custom newsletter of your Pullquotes on a single topic… #sailing, #microbiome, #NYJets… whatever! (Pro users.)

- (2019-03-09) SH: Worked the first time, but now its server has gone offline and the extension has stopped.
- (2019-02-01) This used to work perfectly, but suddenly stopped working. As others have said, the first few option to tweet or create a pull quote are inoperable. I've tried adding it to other browsers and none of them work.
- (2018-01-26) Soheil Setare I Az Bikaran Bikaran: you must update this extension i can not see will activate Tweet even 1 time many time when you right click on pic or even can not see Pullquote option
- (2017-06-22) Matthew Pollesel: Used to be great, but it stopped working a few days ago. Like others have said, it seems to have been abandoned by its developers.
- (2017-06-22) Richard Mark: Stopped working a week ago - zero support, zero response. The support "blog" is now full of porn, so we have to assume this is another "dead" extension (along with qoute.io). Have switched to quote.plus, which is working and is supported
- (2016-12-14) Iñaki Jiménez Miranda: Encuentro interesante esta extensión para aumentar el engagement con algún contacto en Twitter, ya que le preparas una bonita tarjeta con alguna frase que redirecciona a su blog
- (2016-05-04) D. A. Królak: They encounter bugs from time to time but I find the team willing to address & fix them quickly! Love using this and do so almost daily
- (2016-04-06) Quinn DuPont: 5 star app, BUT injects a tracking image into EVERY WEBPAGE (whether in use or not), so, for that reason, I would not recommend using it without an ad-blocker that blocks http://blogads.com/ and http://pressflex.com. Damn shame, really, since it is a highly functional extension.
- (2016-03-17) Trust Nay One: Works perfectly for me. Very useful, push-pull sharing technique that gives you access to an online database as well as the creation of your own. Pullquote benefits as users continue to capture quotes on their behalf. Win-win.
- (2015-12-18) kendini tektrar eden yüklemeler. hesap silme yok. twitterdan konuştuğum halde login sayfası yok anasayfada.

- (2015-11-14) J Coleman: Very disappointed; was really looking forward to using this. After highlighting text, the first four menu options never activate. Can't get it to work. : (
- (2015-11-03) Joshua Ashby: . Simply does not work. Very crude and sloppy coding. . Ash .
- (2015-05-15) Jago Kosolosky: Great extension, use it on a daily basis!
- (2015-04-13) Simon Oxenham: Absolutely love it! Perfect for highlighting on Twitter the key message of an article.
- (2015-03-20) Bro Rat: . Very nice ! Best part is it takes the reader to a specific phrase, sentence, or text block. . The DataRat .
- (2015-03-12) Bernie J Mitchell: I am using this more and more. Great for "getting caught" on twitter saying things like "I have a dream...." etc. The extension hovers over stuff giving opportunity to "pull" anything. It is worth taking the time to work it out as then you can get REALLY trigger happy ;-) BEST for pulling lines out of blogs / articles to make trouble ;-)
- (2014-02-15) Francisco George: Excelente herramienta
- (2014-01-16) Andrew Rich: When you need to quote a sentence or paragraph that won't fit into a tweet, pullquote fits the bill perfectly.
- (2013-05-31) Ana Vasiliu: Pulled quotes are Bookmarks done right. You get to remember exactly why you wanted to remember this or that page in the first place. Cudos !
- (2013-04-04) Zsolt Remenyi: A long time missing tool from the web.
- (2013-03-18) Jason Rosenberg: Pullquote is a great extension that is a must for anyone who uses Twitter or facebook. Just highlight some text and get a shortened link. The best part is the live count from the number of clicks you link receives and more stats that are available.
- (2013-02-12) Andria Krewson: Easy, beautiful plugin that allows me to share the best of what I read quickly.
- (2013-01-31) James Avery: Way better than linking to an entire article!
- (2013-01-21) Hank Copeland: I've always wanted to be able to tweet links directly to sentences and paragraphs. Glad this works.
- (2013-01-18) Robert Mooney: Amazingly useful... easiest way to copy & tweet a passage from any website in less than 1 second
