Three things I would like to add is: 1) to be able to adjust/transform the size of the post it 2) being more options in what's written in the post it( i.e bolding, italics, etc.). 3) Allow to use the post its on their own without needing to highlight it I just like having as much customization as possible and having this would make it perfect and worthy of 5 stars
• (2023-08-18) Kisha Caldwell: This Extension was good when I first downloaded it to use it. Now it is putting notes on pages where there should not be notes. Ex: I am using a management software, in which different people all have different profile matters, which used different web addresses within the same software. I make a note for one, and when I go to someone else's matter page, I see the same note in their matter as well. Not useful to me at this stage, but a good concept and will be fabulous to use once bugs are fixed.

So that when I full screen the video it wont be visible anymore. • (2023-05-28) Bastien Velitchkine: Annotating every book I read has really been a game-changer. And now I can bring that to the web thanks to this simple and effective extension. However, there's a missing feature: a proper export. You can export annotations on an annotated page basis, but not all annotations at ounce. I'd find this feature reassuring, I'd hate to loose what I've written or to be forever stuck in the extension, in case I want to repurpose my annotations.

• (2022-12-30) Not Sure: Feature Request: Remove the max height limit from the sticky note when resizing it. Or, increase it by at least 5x. Why is it even limited to such a short height? Sometimes when I'm reading a page I like to pull up the sticky note on the side of the body's text & take notes or summarize sections of text. Feature Request: Change text color to inverse of highlighted color. Many times I highlight and cannot see the text. An example of a good implementation of this would be the Chrome extension: "Super Simple Highlighter". Feature Request: As the height of a sticky note is increased there is a proportional amount of space at the bottom of the sticky note that becomes unusable. As in, about 25% of the sticky note becomes unusable wasted space when the sticky note height is increased to max. Why?? I'd like to see this space become usable. If you're still unsure what I mean to test it out: open a sticky note, increase it's height to max, and fill the note with text from top to bottom. (Actually, fill past the bottom).

• (2022-09-13) Greg M: There is no way of exporting your notes should you want to backup them up or even import them into another install in another Chromium based browser. Look elsewhere unless you want your notes held captive Just lost all my notes for an entire website. What a failure. Extension also causes issue with Canada Post site when you attempt to chat with their virtual assistant. The chat becomes useless with the extension enable. The text input field becomes unusable and links posted by the assistant are no clickable. You can not add particular sites to an ignore list. The option disable extension on the current site does not stick/work
• (2022-09-10) Azmath: Very nice idea, but a few limitations: 1) There is no way to download highlights, only notes are downloaded. 2) It cannot be backed up, so if you change browser/laptop, everything is gone unless you have downloaded it somewhere. 3) No way to export to google doc.

But it doesn't seem to work on .pdfs, which is what I mostly needed it for. :/ It does work well in common webpages, just not .pdfs >~> whether they're hosted locally or on the web. It did seem promising.

• (2022-03-03) Jim Doria: Nice little tool. I've liked it so far with light use, mostly on ebay. No ability to bulk delete notes is a problem though. Seems like you have to go to each page where you have notes and delete them one at a time? Really arduous. Unless I missed something.

• (2021-11-29) Tom Luo: This is a really good tool!!! But one of my concerns is it doesn't support backup and restore. This is very important to me because more notes you add with this extenstion, more important to keep the data safe. I don't want to lose all the notes suppose if i need to re-install my operating system. With some investigation, I've found all the data is actually saved in C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\IndexedDB\chrome-extension_nikccehomlnjkmgmhnieecolhgdafajb_0.indexeddb.leveldb So I could manually backup and restore these files. I'm using Edge. The path would look like a bit different if you use Chrome. Hope it can help others who has same concern.

I've been working for a day on annotating a long-form article for half a day, then it decided to delete the entire thing as soon as I finished. Lost an entire day of work. Bottom line: Stay away! P.S to the developers the plugin would be awesome if this didn't happen. Maybe adding a cloud syncing backup function would help, I'm not sure what happened

  I love this extension, but it does need a few mods to be truly helpful. For me, the main problem is no way to scroll back through all my past highlights/notes rather than only retrieving them by searching in the tiny window for a tag/word. Without this or a way to export, my historical notes are virtually inaccessible to me.

  I use this application with my students. They sign onto their network account using different computers each class; however, their highlights keep disappearing each time they login. Is there a way to keep their highlights/annotations saved to their Google accounts so they can see them regardless of the physical computer they are using?

  There seems to be a minute glitch where if a highlighted area covers two or more lines, the last letter and punctuation highlighted is duplicated after the highlighted area.
