• (2022-01-05) David Clawson: I really like the extension, but like many others, I'm sad to report that it occasionally loses all of my edits. As such, I'll need to stop using it in favor of something else. Perhaps supporting a data sync to a backing store that is reliable/has clearer semantics.
• (2021-09-16) Carter Gilmer: Really Cool, but . . . it loses your notes, and then they are GONE. They are not saved locally, they are not saved anywhere. Mysteriously GONE. Forget it, not worthwhile.
• (2021-04-10) Lisa Bedford: It looks like it's been quite a while since this extension was reviewed, but I just added it to yet another laptop, it's that valuable to me. I cannot tell you how many times I've had to search out, AGAIN, a frequently-used affiliate link or a link to a YouTube video that I often recommend. All of that and a lot more is on Mindful.
• (2020-08-18) John Le Patourel: I like Mindful and was testing it on two desktops (home and office). But then the synchronization glitched and I got an older version of my notes that overwrote the new version. Initially the synchronization was fine and so I gradually was using it more extensively then wham bam - data lost. As per some other comments a brief history file might protect against this. Until then I can't trust it.

I would like to use this extension at work, and being able to see what I completed is essential. (I'm not referring to recently completed tasks - I'd like to see what I completed, for example, last month.)

• (2017-03-12) Mark van der Waarde: Love the extension, super useful. It would be great if there was an option to prevent Mindful from taking over the New Tab page. I looked up the extension address and pinned it to my tab bar, where it now sits permanently, so no need for it to be everywhere.

  With one huge caveat. If the self-update process erases your notes it becomes useless and down-right damaging. Perhaps provide the user with the option of opting in/out of updates and giving people the opportunity to back-up the notes before they disappear. This is a suggestion that hopefully gives some pointers on fixing a current problem. Other than this, rather big issue, decent thought and intention.

  Good concept of thinking ,,, but needs a lot, - to do list - alarm i know that take a lot of efforts but if you managed to make an app that sync with Android it would be the best useful app and program ever ,, my cousin asks to my to search for him for an app on Android that manage his monthly activities and it would be great if it is accessible on the desktop (Chrome) he means,, so thanks for your developing team and all of your efforts Thanks Mohamed Nabil

  Fails to sync repeatedly. New tab brings up a old saved snapshot. It has really become unusable

  I'd love to be able to do a snapshot to capture a historical point in time. I do a daily task list for the next day at the end of the day, so being able to record my finish point would be excellent; I can copy and paste below but that will get full really quickly. Great extension!
