Summarizer
Summarizer finds long comments on Reddit and summarises them! In fact, you can summarise any lengthy article online.
Summarizer will save you the time-consuming pain of reading long articles and comments. On any website, you can select a long, boring article, right-click and summarise it in a few sentences!
This even works for those long PDF publications from prestigious universities you don't want to read.
Additionally, for you Redditers out there - good news! Long comments are automatically summarised, with any "tl;dr" placed at the *top* of the comment, along with the automatically-generated summary.
New Features:
- Automatic Imperial-to-metric converter for lengths and weights - across all sites!
- Improved summarizer will detect sentences better.
More sites and features to come! Tell me what you want in the feedback section.
Feedback is important to me and hope this extension saves you time too. Let me know of any bugs (currently in Beta) or features to add.

Does a number of things that sound good.. let's you control percent of summarization.. though sometimes it seems to ignore percentage you set. Nonetheless, it probably gives you a more adaptable means of summarizing than most extensions. Works from context menu... choose what you want summarized vs entire article summarization. Will auto convert imperial to metric. Let's you choose number of sentences you want.

Even after i clicked a right click on the selected text and select summarize option, nothing happened. if anyone can advice on this, please.

it's good, but imo oversummarizes. also, if you're unsure on how to use it, highlight the text you want summarized and right click. you should see an option that says summarize selected. once you click it, your summarized text should pop up in a yellow box above the text.

Whenever I try to use it, the page redirects me here. Not sure how to actually use the tool.

This extension does a great job of Extractive Summarization, but it would be even better if it could do Abstractive Summarization.

Sometimes over-summarizes but otherwise great.

I love this extension. It does every page and has never crashed on me. I was just wondering if a taskbar button could be created so I can click on that instead of right clicking?
