Sync your clipboard to any computer running Chrome.
Use Chrome sign-in (http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=165139) to sync your clipboard everywhere. To use the extension, copy something to the clipboard and click the clipboard sync icon next to the omnibox. Then, on all other computers where you're signed in and the extension is installed, you'll get a notification. Click on the notification and the text will be copied to the clipboard there.
The extension currently works with text only, and is subject to limitations imposed by the storage API (maximum length of 4096 characters, no more than 10 syncs per minute).

DID NOT WORK for me. Used Ubuntu on two separate devices side by side and even minutes after copying it didn't sync across to the other device!

Cannot get it to work between 2 windows machines on local LAN. Nice idea, but no joy!
Great idea, but it just doesn't work. I tried everything between my Ubuntu & Windows boxes. Nothing worked.

Interesante propuesta. Puedes nombrar cada dispositivo para saber de donde procede el texto sincronizado al portapapeles, además de que se puede configurar para que la ventana flotante con el texto desaparezca en un tiempo determinado o nunca. Pero AUN LE FALTA! jeje para mi gusto hace falta añadir la opción de Clipboard Sync al menu desplegable del clic derecho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jeje i además no copia con el formato original :( Pero lo mejor esque no tienes que crear ninguna cuenta para sincronizar, solo tener activa la de google i ya!! =) Además de que la ventanita flotante aparece incluso disponible para Word.
Used to work perfectly, now it fails more often than not to transfer between clients
It works pretty well. Every once in a while it didn't seem to work for some reason.
Kind of crude for what I need, but at least it works. I'd prefer to have a persistent clipboard that I can actually see the contents of, and that I can add multiple items to and select from multiple items from between various OS'es.
Works perfectly, even on a pretty scrappy connection. Brilliant little app!
