Hi Mike, could you please add an option for slimmer separators like Firefox has. Thank you.

It doesn't do what it says. It leaves a giant space. The whole reason I need this feature is for HORIZONTAL separators, just like Firefox does. It is the only feature I cannot seem to get in Chrome that Firefox had. even with all the wonder of modern extension-making. please make a better version Mike Spence I know you're only trying to help.

The Chrome extension only seems to allow you to add the separators to the extension icons right of the address bar. That said YOU CAN ABSOLUTELY ADD THEM TO THE BOOKMARK BAR if you just visit his website and follow his instructions. Not super elegant, but you can get the separators on your bookmarks.

Does exactly what it says - great little extension! As Mike said if you just see a blank page icon instead of a divider you need to click on it once and it will then show as a coloured divider. Thanks Mike!

I can't drag anything in Chrome 71+ from either the extension or the webpage. I suppose I will just create dummy bookmarks or develop my own extension when I have time.

Really Nice, love the fact that you added colour! However, I wish the horizontal separators were much longer than that (4 or 5 times longer) cause when added in the bookmarks list, they are barely visible as they are so small.

It does what is expected (use favicon to create the separator), but it is not working on Chrome 69.0.3497.100 (64-bit) for me. It is not allowed to drag and drop links (any link) to the bookmark bar, but I think this is not a problem of the extension. I bookmarked manually the page. It would be nice if bookmark without title (you could create a zero-width space on Title like ). Thank you mate.

Howzit @MikeSpence unfortunately it doesn't work as expected for me... Here is my scenario: 01. Click on the settings icon (top right) of chrome -> bookmarks -> bookmark manager. 02. Click on the "chrome bookmark seperator" icon and select the "horizontal" seperator ("horizontal seperator" didn't show up", so I clicked on it, but it just took me to http://www.chromebookmarkseparator.co.uk/?colour=grey-horizontal (which opened in a new tab). 03. Decided to make a "vertical seperator" and add it to the "bookmarks menu bar" and it just showed a blank page, so I clicked on it again, but again if I'm not mistaken it took me to http://www.chromebookmarkseparator.co.uk/?colour=grey-horizontal, but no "vertical seperator". So I thought let me "right click (the chrome seperator in the menu bar") -> "open in new tab" and it displayed the "vertical seperator". 04. So I tried the same process with the "horizontal seperator", but by creatinh a "horizontal seperator" and right clicking the blank page in the bookmarks manager, but it seems to only recognise "vertical seperator" now, i.e. seems to have a pointer that points to the "vertical seperator" & doesn't create a new instance of the "horizontal seperator" though. I hope the above explanation makes sense to you, but all in all not a bad effort and really like your concept. If you could fix those minor (but could be major coding) changes I will re install the extension & give you 5 stars :-). Ps. My chrome version is 66.0.3359.139 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Really stupid. It simply adds links to the extension's website as a bar in choice of color. But even after you edit/remove the bookmark title (the link), it is still a fat/wide space rather than simply a narrow vertical bar. I think it is just a way for the author to hack your information as you browse the Web.

Dude, blank icon is all I get when dragging the separator to the bookmark bar. Tried clicking the icon, both separator types, restared Chrome, ended all Chrome processes and started Chrome again. Nothing works. Sorry, it's a great idea and would rate it 5 stars, if it would've worked for me.

Won't allow me to drag it to the bookmark bar from the extension, however going to the webpage and dragging from there does work. Would be nice if I could drag from the extension toolbar, but at least from the website it gets the job done. Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Lol, it's just a bookmark with the coloured icon depending on the link - genious, sir. But I wanted a horizontal separato which is spread across the column i.e. long one and not short as each icon's width.

Nice, would be really great if horizontal separators could be added though. That way it would also work from the menu.
