  • (2020-04-09) Andrew Woods: This was a good extension before but it hasn't been updated in over a year and is now full of bugs and glitches. It will randomly say you're disconnected when you aren't, it will say that there's a catchpa when there isn't, it WON'T say there's a catchpa when there actually is one, and the list of issues goes on. If a new update comes out then I might suggest using it again but for now it's a waste of your money.
  • (2019-12-04) Rob Lindman: I like this app. there are some things to fix. 1. a 'return all' to clear the queue would be useful. 2. remove all from the autoaccepter would also be useful. 3. blocking requesters from the hits queue would be useful, because it's hard to find them and you can't block them from their own page 4. a way to get to the settings. i managed to find it one time. i can't remember how i did that. 5. defaulting back to the hits queue after returning or completing or or or. i constantly have to navigate back to this page. 6. a link to the documentation?! I saw this once and can't find it. a few other UI enhancements might make this more useful. not sure how to contact the creator other than through the reviews.
  • (2019-11-27) Michael Opielowski: Was a 5 star product till my account was flagged by mTurk for scripting...I followed all the rules the app displayed with recommend settings. Even went a little conservative on the scraper (2000 ms instead of the suggest 1000 in the settings). Also emailed the dev about the circumstances and never received any response back. You've been warned.
  • (2019-06-13) Jack Mickel: where are the instructions, can't find out how to use this after paying for it.
  • (2019-06-10) Rachael Clark: worked great for a few days and now it keeps saying "verify if mturk is down autoacceptor paused" every 2 minutes. i even tried to uninstall and reinstall. im mad i wasted my money on this junk.
  • (2019-06-09) Courtney Markowski: EDIT: I've had this for about a year now and it's been a huge help for me. The best part is not having to waste time on mTurk scraping for HITs and then scrambling trying to panda them. That alone has given me a ton of time to focus on my other online jobs and I've still been able to consistently pull in an extra few hundred bucks or so more a month from mTurk than I used to. I wish I had known about it a long time ago because it's made turking less stressful and a better source of income for me. Original review: Task Archive does *everything* you could ever ask for. If you're a full time turker still using MTS you're missing out on *a lot* of things. This is how you go from schlepping around mTurk all day like a noob for $4/hr. to pulling in a solid $10-12/hr. and with a lot less effort. There's so many neat little features in TA that it answers probably every "is there a script to do x .." question I've ever seen or have asked myself in the 8+ years I've been turking. It's really nuts. TA has been surprisingly helpful for me and I think the phrase "turk smarter, not harder" would sum it up quite well.
  • (2019-03-12) Very useful overall. As a few other people have stated, the one functionality that would be useful is the ability to whitelist certain requesters or group ID's so that the "one and done" rule doesn't apply to them (but remains in effect for everyone else).
  • (2018-10-25) bo reddude: Not a review as much as a feature request. it would be very helpful if we have an include list for requesters. and maybe highlight them in the HIT groups page on mturk.
  • (2018-08-29) Alice M: I had the same problem as Amanda and this should fix it for you. https://old.reddit.com/r/mturk/comments/9ajs1v/task_archive_notifications_not_appearing_anymore/?st=jlf6po0o&sh=b025e4c7 It help solved my problem.
  • (2018-08-29) Damien: Works Great!
  • (2018-08-23) Amanda Daugherty: I have changed my review several times since downloading this app because it is so hit and miss. Before recently, this app was fantastic and worked perfectly. I don't know what is up with the latest update, but the app officially SUCKS now. I can't catch any HITs. None of the buttons on the notification pop-up do anything now. Also, the same HITs keep popping up over and over, but it doesn't matter because I can't catch them anyways. Please undo whatever you've done so this app will work again! Also, I'm still not sure why I paid the $2.99 because nothing changed with that purchase - it stayed the same. But at least it worked then. Now it doesn't work at all. Please fix it because when it works, I love this app!
  • (2018-05-04) Please don't waste your money on this extension when you can get every one of the features it contains (plus more) elsewhere for free. All of the on board pay-to-use features found in Task Archive are also available in the 100% FREE Mturk Suite (MTS) extension that is packed with easy to use, must have, productivity tools. There are also tons of scripts that contain these tools, and are also 100% free for use with the Tampermonkey extension. o͡͡͡╮༼ • ʖ̯ • ༽╭o͡͡͡
  • (2018-01-23) Mia Durand: I've been loving TA for all of the info it provides, but today I've got a problem where it stalls out when I try to work on a hit. When the hit tries to load, it just hangs forever (seemingly forever - I've waited up to 2 minutes and gave up before the hit expired). It's definitely TA and not another extension (I've toggled all those I have installed, and the problem only happens when TA is active). Anyone else seeing this problem today? (Jan. 22nd, 2018)
  • (2018-01-23) Brendan Pierce: I love TA a lot it helps so much with things. However, lately its been causing windows to be short and just today it started causing hits after accepted to not load at all.
  • (2018-01-19) Robert: I have this problem where TA, and I've toggled all my extensions, it's TA, causes my accepted hit windows to be extremely short. The Mturk hit window where you enter the completion code usually, it's like 3 inches in height. I toggled off all menu settings in TA and nothing fixes it. Only disabling TA fixes it. Really huge inconvenience and frustration for what the extension offers. Uninstalling now.
  • (2018-01-19) Thomas Reilly: This is a great extension for the average Mturk worker. Be sure to read everything on the Overview page. There is a lot of user friendly instructions available on using the many features of this extension. It's worth the small cost.
  • (2018-01-01) Chasity Gragg: Everything seems good and helpful while grinding away on mturk.
  • (2017-12-30) Ray N: I tried Task Archive when Amazon forced us over to the new worker interface and the script I'd been using to keep track of my HITs no longer worked. The developer offered this for free at that time for a limited time which was a kind thing offer. I had an importing data on a weekend and after contacting the developer, he made a change which made it work for me within hours! I upgraded to paid - one of the very few paid Chrome extensions I've ever had. This is easily worth the $3 for me.
  • (2017-12-20) DoomHouser Scallywag: I'm not one to write reviews often, but Task Archive is amazing. After Amazon decided to force their "Worker" website overhaul on everyone recently, severely breaking or crippling many favorite scripts, I really wondered if my Mturk days were numbered. But Task Archive saved the day! It's crazy, because I was a huge fan of doing my HITs through HitScraper, but I feel that Task Archive is superior to it in just about every way. I adore the ability to append screenshots to HITs, the way information is so clearly and cleanly presented, and a ton of other features I never knew I needed. So do I recommend Task Archive? I think it's pretty obvious, but YES! I just adore it, and it's crazy that it isn't more popular than it is. Best three bucks I've ever spent.
  • (2017-12-19) Don't know why so few people know about this. Suits my mturk workflow atleast.
  • (2017-09-09) Vacker Vild: This plugin has been updated once again after so long. The one feature I still used has been total removed. Now this extension is totally useless having lost it's one redeeming feature that kept me using it while all it's other features slowly broke over time. Bring back the ability to block hits and requestors and I will use it again. I am not sure I am willing to pay for it after having seen features gutted and removed from it like this.
  • (2017-09-07) Kaote Bruche'Daine: Used to be Turk Assist. And even after being abandoned for over a year it had a useful feature or two still. Now it's been updated to TAsk Archive and removed every useful thing it had. It now poorly does only a couple things that dozens of other extensions already do, yet has nothing useful of it's own to add.
  • (2017-08-28) tantummodo mortem habet significatum: This is no longer Turk Assist. It is called "Task Archive" and they have removed almost every useful feature. It now seems more like a way for the person who wrote this to archive your work habits without allowing you any functionality.
  • (2016-04-12) Jen G.: I really love this extension and I want to continue to use it but there are a couple things that would be cooler. Like one other user said, putting the "Next page" button at the bottom would be super. I also wish there were another way to see which requestor you block, monitor, etc in a list form or something. Love it though!! THANK YOU!
  • (2016-03-26) Erica Leff: I really like almost everything that Turk Assist did for me... but it messed up other scripts I also like to use. Scripts for hoarding/hit scraping and stuff like that don't work at all when TA is enabled. Can this please be fixed?
  • (2016-03-21) Aquillia Alowonle: this extension has changed the way I do turk! it is awesome!!!
  • (2016-03-07) Terry Canaan: OK, replaces a few scripts to streamline the experience. Can't get it to alert me when favorite requesters post HITs and I'm guessing that aspect is broken. If that worked, it would be 5 stars.
  • (2016-02-10) Jeanea Smith: I find that this script blocks other scripts that I'm finding critical to turking. It changes the tab title names to Amazon Mechanical Turk instead of the information in the hit. Many user scripts cannot load or run with this active. The database does not store information from the browser info, it has to be running to store information about hits worked on.
