Ob auf Netflix, Disney+, Youtube oder einer anderen Online-Streaming-Website - Unser Ziel ist es, jede Sprachlücke zu schließen, die es gibt, sei es zur Unterhaltung, zum Sprachenlernen oder um Videos für Gehörlose und Schwerhörige zugänglich zu machen.

FEATURES:
- Unterstützt Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo und viele andere Videoplattformen.
- Suche nach Untertiteln mit der integrierten Suchfunktion.
- Fügen deine eigenen Untertitel per Drag & Drop hinzu (unterstützte Formate: SubRip (.SRT) oder ZIP-Archiv, das eine .SRT enthält).
- Synchronisiere die Untertitel manuell, wenn sie nicht mehr synchron sind.
- Ändern Sie die Schriftgröße, Textfarbe und Hintergrundfarbe der Untertitel.
- Unterstützt Sonderzeichen für Sprachen wie Griechisch oder Arabisch.
- Substital ist standardmäßig passiv und fügt nichts in die Seiten ein, die du besuchst. Nur DU entscheidest, wann Untertitel zu einem Video hinzugefügt werden sollen.
WIE ZU BENUTZEN:
- Füge die Erweiterung zu deinem Browser hinzu.
- Pinne sie an, damit du sie leichter finden kannst (sehr empfehlenswert).
- Navigiere zu einer Website, die ein Video enthält.
- Klicke auf die Substital-Erweiterung oben rechts in deinem Browser. Es öffnet sich ein Pop-up-Fenster.
- Wähle das erkannte Video aus.
- Füge Untertitel hinzu, indem du die Suchfunktion benutzt oder deine eigene Datei hochlädst.

For Demon Slayer, I found one .SRT file for one episode only, Substital allows only upload one file at a time, this is too tedious.

It was supposed to just add subtitles, but the developer sneaked in a donation feature on random websites (even though it wasn’t for themselves).

You can find the subtitiles you want but you can only try 5 of them in 24 hours. And ofc, 90% of them are not synchronised.
I use it for local servers. It can't detect the video in them. So i have to separately download subtitles. But then it works great, so yeah recommended

Excellent addon if you need to load your own subtitles to any video. The SRT support is great.

Not just the popular websites it works even for a lot of unknown players! And it integrates so well that it seems like it is part of the player!!

Please add a speed control, or make it sense the video speed. If it's paused or skipped forward/backward it syncs, but it assumes the video is at 1x speed when playing.
You can't change the position of the subtitles. It's nice that it has a sync feature though.
It's getting error everytime when I click on the icon on Netflix.

More-less it works, however, it's somewhat cumbersome. The largest issue is that there is no way to position the subtitles, so when I want to use dual subtitles (for language learning), they happen to exactly overlap. A few other glitches too. A pity since most of the work is well done, but the last polishing touches are missing.

really cool how it does nothing
I absolutely love this app. An extremely hard of hearing individual, it makes finding subtitles for videos on any page workable. Some of the sites I use for videos don't have subtitles or when watching English dubbed animes, they don't have the English subtitles but I can use this for that. I do however wish that it had an option to delete histories and pass searches as well as an easier method for syncing subtitles to videos such as the timing. The little drag box or having to type in tweaks it's kind of finicky. Other than that, this app is perfect!!!! 5 Stars
