Features:
- Automatically halts playback in a hidden YouTube tab.
- Automatically resumes playback when the tab regains focus.
- The option to deactivate the functionality via the action button (might have been hidden in the extension menu. If so you can pin the button to the toolbar area).
How it works:
A mini script is injected exclusively on YouTube pages to manage the player's play/pause status based on the visibility of the document. When a YouTube tab is brought to the forefront, the player automatically resumes, akin to hitting the play button. Conversely, when the document becomes hidden, the player automatically pauses, simulating the effect of pressing the pause button.
Sample scenario:
Imagine having multiple YouTube players across various tabs. Only the active player is in playback mode when focused, while all other players pause.

- (2021-08-12) רפאל rafhi: I definitely liked this plugin, but I want to suggest an improvement, The problem is, when the video is finished, and I browse the comments, many times the comments make me switch to other tabs, and then when I return, the plugin plays the video from the beginning, and it removes the red check mark, that I have already watched this video, and may create confusion in the future whether I have already watched this video or not

- (2019-05-09) Sgt: This Extension works like a charm. I especially love the fact that it pauses only when switching between tabs of the same Chrome window. I often type or work in a separate window and can still have a youtube video play in another. I would suggest an improvement. I personally like the auto-pause, I sometimes find the auto-resume to be bothersome. It would be useful to have an option to select which ones you choose to activate. That would make this Extension even better.

The low number of downloads and reviews always make me wary but looking at the contents of the plugin itself I dont see anything malicious unlike some other similar youtube plugins that dont even work.
