- (2023-09-14) Butt McNut: fixes chrome. google is a blight on society. chrome is a leech on every fathomable level. it obviously shouldnt be on the user to do so much work, invest so much personal time, take risks with weird janky add-ons to fix something that masquerades as a "tool" and then doesnt include brutally obvious, boiler plate features like what f***ing time you visit websites. google.myactivity does this too, it technically has timeatamps but will just mysteriously omit parts of your history, include visits and then forget them later, if you visit the same thing twice it just deletes the first visit sometimes, none of which is at all explained to the user anywhere in their documentation.... why are people just ok with this? do we really want to be wasting our finite time on earth trying to figure out if the tools we are coerced into interacting with daily are dog**** because of incompetence, "user error", or something more insideous like google actually not wanting you to know about the composition of your internet history because then you might realize something about yourself and interact less? chrome records the timestamps. they just refuse to show it to you. they hate you. they think you were born to have amazon links to cheap product knockoffs blasted into your face every time you were stupid enough to try to google something again, even though we all know by now youre never finding what you were searching for, youre just a hamster running in a wheel so smug pillowhumpers who dont know where food comes from never have to work a real job doing anything anyone actually wants or needs. anyway. great extension it fixes my problem but i really shouldnt have needed to look for it, and you shouldnt have needed to write it
