• (2021-02-13) James Utting: Some time ago I paid for this A+ FontSize Changer PRO via the Chrome Webstore and it worked well. Just recently I had some technical trouble using a website and was told it could be an Chrome Extension causing the issue, so I then uninstalled every Chrome Extension one at a time until I found the culprit. I then had to reinstall the A+ FontSizer Changer PRO and I now find that I am being asked in the Extension Options to upgrade to the PRO which I have already paid for. When I check the Extension details I am told I have the PRO version but it functions exactly the same as the FREE version. However after reporting this issue the Extension developer was quick to respond and this issue is now resolved.

  I think I reported this a long time ago? Ok, the issue is that if I change the background color of a site, it changes the color of the embedded YT player as well...... Can you make it so it ignores the YT player? Or all Java players in general? When it detects video players, to just ignore them and their iframes, but still be able to change the color of X websites...

  These is an issue with youtube. Changing the background color, screws up with its "div.ytp-gradient-top" and "div.ytp-gradient-bottom" overlays. Making them colorful and not gradient anymore... Yes, youtube already has Dark Mode, so why change the background color you ask? Well, the issue is not youtube.com, but other websites that have embedded youtube videos. Seems this is still related to the fix for coloring videos with transparent controls. One thing gets fixed, something else breaks... :(

  This started with the last few updates. When saving settings for a page and reloading the page, it doesn't remember the settings. Even if they were saved to a profile and I click "load", it doesn't bring back the previous saved settings. Also, it used to remember setting per domain. Now, if I go to a different page within the same domain, the settings are not used.

  Hello Jeff! Jeff, please please, please, fix this bug, it's the biggest and the worst! Actually it's the only bug... The bug is like this: On streaming sites, if you change the background color, the extension puts an overlay of that color on top of the video player. Sound comes out, but you're just starring at that color the entire "video"... This bug is on all websites, except for youtube. Please fix it! Please please please please please! Pretty please?   Can you make a Currency Converter extension, with select text to show in page result? There are some out there, with this function. But all have the same 2 issues: -show the wrong numbers, due to inability to read correct digits separator and decimal. -always mistake my country's currency with another country's currency. The extensions are very old and the devs are just not responding. I really hate that, when devs just abandon their creations, especially the paid ones...😠😢

  You say HTML 5, but it's not that Chrome offers a way to choose which player plays your media, switch between them, etc...😢 But if YOU made an extension for playing online media, I would fkg buy it!!!! But there are new kinds of streaming files I see: Very small chunks in ".ts" format, put into a playlist ".m3u8", video files. If you can make an HTML 5 player that plays everything, it will be even more great, and I will even buy it.

  Can you at least fix the issue where, changing the background color will change the embedded java player as well? I try to watch a show, etc, and the movie is completely covered with the background color. And when I get them to work, the seekbar of the player is the same color, not being able to see the current cursor.... Also: If I change the text color as well, it will affect the payer controls too... Leave the double size text increase for another time, just try and fix this issue at least. Please? It's site breaking and heart breaking. I love it so much, but it's still in the beta stage... :(

  I've been using A+ FontSize Changer Pro for a long time and it's been great but Chrome updated a few days ago and now the sites where I've changed the font size are choppy when I scroll and keep freezing. I have to change back the size to default to be able to scroll. Tried reinstalling both Chrome and A+ FontSize Changer Pro but doesn't help. Any way to fix this? Thanks for a great add-on!

  Sometimes the extension is duplicating the text, and putting the big text over the small text, overlapping each other. For now, I've only seen it do it on the Google search page, to the text in the search box. It's stupid, and it's hard to select and edit what you wrote. If I reset the text size, it doesn't do it anymore. Seems I'm the main software tester you've got...

  Hey Jeff! I have an idea for the extension. I've encountered a lot o issues along the way, but it's not the extension, it's the sites themselves! The issue I'm talking about it's the Headers and the Footers of web pages. They already have Big text titles, headers and footers, and when we increase the text on the page, the headers and footers increase as well, squishing the Body part of the page...reducing the visible and usable part of a page, by 2/3. And my idea for the extension is, to ignore the headers and footers of pages, just increase the text size Only on the Body part of a page. Or if you want to complicate yourself, add a separate text resizer for both the Header and Footer, as well... This will fix retarded websites, and make them usable. Thank you for your time!

  Hey Jeff. I found 2 more issues with the extension... [1]-This one is weird, but... When I open a website with "resized text", often the extension makes the text size a lot Bigger, than what I set it to. I have to reload the page 1-2 times to make it look right, or reset the text size and set it again. Also, if a website loaded fine the first time, reloading the page or going to another page, does the same issue. I think the "Pro" part of the extension is not working properly, the "memorize settings for each website" part. That or, I don't know. This time, this isn't affected by another extension... [2]-For some reason, the extension replaces "icons" and "button icons" on some webpages, with "squares". And it makes it very confusing, because not all buttons have names... After the last issue, I did the same now, disabling the extensions one by one. Also, it doesn't matter if the site is not "modified", just enabling the extension is enough. Damn it, if I did this earlier, now all fixes would've been in the same update, and not take 2 weeks..... Oh well... Here is a website I use every day, with the specified issue, "www.emag.ro".   Seeing you just like to make great extensions(🤥), may I suggest a new extension?? Don't worry, it's something easy... Maybe...😛 Can you make a Search on Page tool? Something similar to the browser's "find ctrl+f". A simple right click, then click search, a floating box popsup, you write the words in and hit enter. And has 2 buttons, next and previous. But it searches on page, not the internet... It'd be cool if we can "write" the word(s) using the Speech Recognition extension.... 👍👍👍 It would be a more simpler and easier to use tool, than that of the browser's, imo. I can't find such a tool. And using Speech Recognition with custom commands, is too complicated(if it ever works), and would take a longer time I assume? The reason for not using the built in tool, is that it's too far on the screen(I'm using a 50" TV, from my bed), and the text is tooooo small to read(even on the TV)...😞 Make it Pro, and I'll buy this too.🙂

  Hi, I bought the Pro version and it is working fine so far. Only thing that I wish I had was a way to define exclude some things from being overriden. As a developer yourself you will be aware of pages that have 'code blocks' which usually use some variant of the `font-family=monospace` css annotation. Would there be any way of adding functionality to enable/disable font-overriding by the extension, ideally by highlighting some area on the page and then right-clicking and having a contextual menu option to do this?
