  • (2023-11-13) Toyin: Great extension with a tonne of potential. Please add more options to the filter so I can have a working set of exclusions/overrides on a per-site basis. The extension feels very well made, so it would be a shame to see this abandoned, but I can appreciate this may be a side-project where updates are only provided where time exists. All the best.

  • (2023-07-16) Liam: can i have different filter for each website? My overall filter is too big now, website like reddit.com takes a very long to load
  • (2023-07-03) - Laurel -: WOW !!! This thing is AMAZING !!! I previously had a Kardashian filter which was a dismal disappointment. This filter INSTANTLY blocks all traces of any person or subject matter I don't want to see anymore on my Yahoo home page ! I can hardly believe it, but it's TRUE !!!
  • (2023-07-02) Prabhu: brilliant extension it blocks words and search results perfectly
  • (2023-02-18) Iva Ivanova: im using this extension mainly for twitter and it is really doing a fantastic job. muting words on twitter doesn't do anything, but this extension helped me completely mute words that annoy me, now it's impossible for me to see tweets that contain those words even if i search for them. it is amazing!!
  • (2023-01-18) WoodleDoodle: It's amazing. One really big issue though is that if you refresh a page with filtered images and then click the x before everything loads it can bypass the extension and keep the filtered images. Is there a way this could be fixed because if so this would fix a whole lot of issues i've been going through.
  • (2023-01-09) Immaterial Immaterial: Great addon! Please start a Patreon so we can support you, also a similar addon for firefox would be appreciated. Thanks!
  • (2022-12-26) Simas Castillo: This extension is an absolute godsend. I'm using it as a custom content filter for my niece instead of relying on overly simple safe search or other similar paid options. I cannot recommend it enough. If you are using it in the same way don't forget to either lock your extensions down or hide them entirely to prevent tampering since there is no password option.

  • (2022-02-05) Michael Ty: This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to block any articles about the Olympics (because of the genocide) and this blocker fully removes the thumbnail along with the word.

  • (2021-08-11) NN: We need to be able to have filter lists for different sites... right now there is no way to filter things from site A without also filtering sites B,C,D... etc this creates a problem where you start filtering things you don't want to filter. Also it should not be filtering things by default on all sites... you should be able to turn on the extension filter when you need to... right now the extension just goes filtering stuff on all sites by default.

  • (2021-04-25) j b: Simple but effective. Just drop in anything you don't wanna see.
  • (2021-01-14) Nitin Joshi: Does what it says and does it smoothly and well. It has saved me a lot of trouble trying to avoid the so called "news" and things I don't want to see on the internet. P.S. A suggestion. I don't live in the USA and don't want to know what a certain U.S. senator is saying or what U.S. thinks about their Republicans or Democrats. We have enough of our own political BS in my country. Point is, I cannot block U.S. because of the 'dots', so if the dev can please look into this, it'd be great.

  • (2020-12-17) RGTube: 12 months ago: This is the extract thing I needed. I was looking for something very specific on YouTube and had to blacklist many YouTube channels to find the right video. I do however want like to suggest a hard-reset button to remove all blacklisted words Today: There was an unknown update that disallowed me from filtering videos on YouTube and Twitch. This means I can't find the content I am looking for. This is a huge issue for me since this was the main reason I used this program. It helped me filter things on streaming platforms at much faster rates; it no longer does this.
  • (2020-11-07) Fritt Fallande: i use it to block news websites that ask for money

  • (2019-07-30) Douglas Wardle: This is a great extension. Exactly what I was looking for.
  • (2019-04-15) Sequoia E.: I can't believe how amazing this add-on is. I use this to filter out the entire English language from most places on the internet in order to avoid the stupid and irritating memes, posts, comments and attitudes I'd otherwise be seeing everywhere. It works on Twitter (Twitter's own "keyword mute" function only works on your timeline, not even on searches!), Google, Discord, Tumblr, Archiveofourown, Pillowfort, everywhere! If you want to mute an entire language yourself, just mute all the small often-seen words like "is, am, the, are, won't". I've only come across one problem, and that's that if you're typing in a text field and your message includes words you've blocked, it sometimes hides the text field as soon as you type the word (before you've finished typing and sending your message I mean). When that happens you just pause the add-on until you're done typing and sending the message.
  • (2018-11-17) Diego S.: Worked 100%
  • (2018-07-31) Serrot Einreb: Finally! Filter that works! No more kardash*ts and likes.
  • (2017-12-22) Sheldon Hull: So far it is the only filter that worked in removing offensive youtube comment keyboards. Great job
  • (2017-11-18) Hayden Taylor: Great extension! Although, I want to recommend a whitelist that cancels out the blacklist. Also tracking for all caps.

  • (2023-01-18, v:1.3.1) WoodleDoodle: The Refresh Bar
So basically, if you click on the refresh bar it well refreshes the entire page. The thing is, there's an option to make it stop and it can cause a huge ton of problems. Filtered images can pop up before the page fully loads which means it can be bypassed by doing such. Please fix this somehow it'd mean a lot.

Matching words should be case-insensitive. For example, if I block the word "turquoise", the extension should also block "Turquoise", "TURQUOISE" etc. If this is implemented, it will greatly enhance usefulness, usability and ease of use. Thank you!

  • (2019-06-28, v:1.2.4) J: Youtube scrolling down to the bottom of the list and loading more videos to a list adds them out of order.
Love this extension but in you tube when you tube auto loads more videos when you scroll down to the bottom of a list they get added to the list of videos but out of order for some reason above the sorted videos or somewhere in the middle. Is there some way to get these videos to show up at the bottom of the list like they should be added instead of somewhere in the middle its hard to track them down after they get put into the mix. Other than that i really enjoy this it would just make it that much more useful. I does work perfectly until you scroll to the bottom of the list where youtube adds more videos.
  • (2019-04-26, v:1.2.4) Y-J FANG: An advice on languages of the filtered key words
Hi, I'm a new user, and I find it really useful. I try using Filter Anything Everywhere to filter some words on the site: https://www.douban.com, it works perfectly on English words. But when the key words are Chinese characters, it does not work. Would you please be so kind to see whether there's anything wrong for this case? Thank you for your time.

Does this support wor* type syntax? I downloaded a blacklist and it uses few wild cards in it to remove entire sets of words matching. I couldn't find any detail on this is supported. thanks for a helpful extension. Nice to remove crap from youtube comments!
