Set a list of keywords and Automatic Keywords Highlighter will automatically highlight them on any web page you visit. The icon shows you how often a keyword was highlighted on the current page.

- (2016-04-25) Eivind Hagen: It's not AUTOMATIC... I have to press the highlighter icon on each page for it to work. I'd like an option to highlight immediately after a page loads. I'm primarily using this with GMail, so I can quickly find the keywords that are the most important to me. I'm not suspecting that the extension doesn't highlight AJAX-type updates to the page. Is that something that can be added?

I use it for specific tasks that search for words that are rare on the site I'm interested in but quite common elsewhere, so I get a lot of "color" on websites do not really want to be highlited. A global filter would be of help, a perfect solution would allow to define multiple rules where each rule has a keyword list, an individual color an otional list of "search only these domains" and an optional list of "exclude these domains" where the last two options also allow wildcards - (2016-04-04, v:0.1.0) Krzysztof Robak: on/off button
