Q: Can I add my own sites/searches?
A: Yes of course. On the edit screen go to "Available Searches" klick on the input field and search for the sites you want to add. - (2022-12-08) John Weiss: One of the best extensions in the browser universe! I use it constantly. Very powerful. Problem 1: There's another Truffle Piggy extension. Somehow, i got both installed. That was confusing. Only one or the other extension is needed. This one has smaller memory footprint. Problem 2: This extension by itself runs two different Trufflepiggy processes constantly in the background, making it one of the biggest memory footprints of all my extensions. Why is it running in the background constantly? What is it doing? Please stop your processes when i'm not using it.

But if you want to make your own, or really want to customize everything how you like it, good luck.......... The editor is very...lacking. Saying it's mediocre would imply that it has all the basic stuff at least. Well, it doesn't. Which makes me sad to give it 3 stars. I don't hate it, but it's not that useful for me. Maybe in the future, after a few quality-life updates...

One of the most useful extensions I have ever had the pleasure of using , and that's really saying something because I'm something of an extension junkie.. more of a extension-hopper, in the same way that one might be a distro-hopper in the linux community, though admitedly, it doesn't have the same ring to it. Tangent aside, I first DL'd Trufflepiggy Context Search several months back at random. I thought it sounded cool in theory but I wasn't expecting for it to redefine my entire context menu navigating experience/expectations, etc. Long story short, it was/is everything I've ever needed and I didn't even know it. Oh, and just to put it over the top, if the already superbly well-thought out options don't fit the bill for you, you can customize it from the ground up. I actually use TP Quick Search now - I was adding YouTube Music as an option and found that QS includes all the features of context search and then some but they're both 10/10 would recommend. oh, and also - next to no permissions necessary and you can elect to use it anonymous if you'd like, you just can't sync (there may be other downsides but I don't think so). I swear, I have no affiliation with TP, just get psyched when I come across sensible, well designed and conceived of software/tools .etc

when conducting a search from the context menu, the operation works and the results open within new tabs however the focus moves from the primary tab (the one that that i am working on) to the last tab of searches. So if it is one search it will move to the that page, if there are multiple search simultaneously then it will make the last tab the primary. anyway to prevent this or a setting i can change? similar to using Command-Enter (mac) to open an item on a new tab without leaving the main tab.
