This extension gets rid of Google's ugly (tracking) URL. This speeds up loading search results and allows you to normally copy links.

As of version 4.23 (January 2021), link tracking via the "ping" attribute is disabled by default. This prevents Google from tracking your link clicks. If you want Google to track your link clicks, visit the options page to disable this feature.

- (2019-05-30) Tom Chambers: No fault of the developer, but this extension doesn't work anymore due to the way that google have changed their tracking. I think they use javascript now rather than a proxy redirect to track you.
- (2018-09-03) Mark van der Waarde: Great extension, with a notable side effect: photo attachments in Gmail no longer open in a lightbox when clicked, but instead are downloaded. Discovered this by disabling each extension individually until disabling this extension fixed it. Here's hoping this issue can be fixed by the developer.
