Description from store Displays lyrics for the current song of Google Play (TM) Music. A Google Play (TM) account is required for this extension to work. This is not an official Google plugin. Code available at: https://github.com/ojcarcete/googleplay-lyrics The message "Network Error" usually means that the LyricWiki service is temporarily unavailable. The extension will get the lyrics automatically once they become available Suggestions for changes and bugfixes are greatly appreciated (preferably through GitHub). (2013-08-13) Luc Nanquette: Simple but works. After trying out a multitude of extensions and scripts to get lyrics into Google Play, I sticked with this small and simple one as it was the only one that worked flawlessly so far.

(2013-04-16) Joe Cisneros: This one works great! Tried "Lyrics for Google Chrome" and a "Music Plus", but "Lyrics" wasn't finding the right songs, and the "Music Plus" one didn't show lyrics at all. One request would be to move the placement of the Lyrics from the left-hand navigation to a tab under "Shop Music" (like "Music Plus" attempted to)
(2013-01-08) jangelsb: I used to use Lyrics for Google Chrome, but that completely stopped working for me. And this works wonderfully with Google Music! You don't have to do anything, the lyrics just show up in the side bar, need to scroll down a little bit, and bam. Thanks for this :)

Hi, everytime a new song is played, the panel that contains the lyrics (and the playlists) opens automatically. I think it would be better to have it work as it did before, where if the user want's to see the lyrics of a specific song being played, he would be the one to open the side-panel.

I assume it has to do with the newest update to Google Music, but there only shows "null" in the lyrics box now. Great extension; hope to see it updated!

In place of the lyrics, it displays "null". Was the best plugin of its type -- I was surprised to see it had only 870 users. Please fix it.
