Voice is too low :(
Nice and simple but it doesn't work correctly. The recording of my voice is deeper. May have something to do with the recording bit rate. Does anybody know how to solve the problem?
pro: easy to use pro: free (CAVEATS below) con: open the link and the playback UI covers up the gmail UI meaning you cannot listen AND type a reply at the same time. con: click on the small talk logo in the received email and it goes to an ad =bad!! con: no way to TEST the audio BEFORE sending! = bad! con: no paid option to remove nuisance ads (I'm not sending a VM with a link to an unknown advertiser(bad business practice!) TRANSLATION this is an NSFW internal use ONLY tool!) as noted by other reviewers: con: the big smalltalk logo at the top of each email sent is a big turnoff. =BAD
Love the idea, but it doesn't work for business! My voice is so low that it is unattractive and unrecognizable -- like the kidnapper who disguises his voice over the phone in movies. I'm amazed that google would allow this plug-in its present state! Shame on them!

makes my voice sound much deeper than it actually is, so i can't use it for business. I understand this may be caused by the chrome browser, but regardless, i hope the developer can fix that so this plug-in can be used by more people
It works, the interface is great, but the recording quality is terrible! My voice is unrecognizable. Even in 1990s, sound recording wasn't that poor. Needs a high quality setting by default. Let us worry about the size of the file. Gmail allows attachments up to 25Mb, I am normally sending voice messages up to half hour long with high quality sound. For Gmail messages, I use optimized sound format 44KHz, 80 kbps. It is DVD quality. using Easy Voice Recorder for Android.
nice idea, but it records at the wrong frame rate, ie my voice sounds much slower and deeper than how I actually speak. I don’t see a setting to fix this.
Integrates nicely, but the big smalltalk logo at the top of each email sent is a big turnoff. I would give it 5 stars f it could be removed.
